Since the arrival of our daughter, I have become familiar with the company Mamas & Papas. They offer a great selection of infant and children’s products. From strollers, carriers, floor seats, high chairs, boosters, bouncers, toys, and even clothing for expectant mothers and children, Mamas & Papas seems to offer it all. I recently had the pleasure of working with them on a Baby Snug Floor Seat Review and am now bringing you our review on their Baby Bud.
For this review, I’m going to introduce you to the Baby Bud Booster Seat, which is geared for children ages 6 months through about 3 years. The only assembly required was to attach the non-slip feet to the bottom of the booster and snap the toys onto the tray. In less than 60 seconds from unboxing, this booster was ready for action.
This is a 3-stage seat that is designed to grow with children. The insert is comfortable and supportive for the younger child and is removable as baby grows and no longer needs the extra support. The seat can be used with our without the tray. There is also an activity tray that can be purchased separately or as a set with the Lime Booster. Both our 3 month old and 2 1/2 year old liked the activity tray. Bright colors, toys that can be spun, and a “page” that can be flipped kept the kids quite amused. I also liked the locking feature for the tray. After sliding the tray onto the seat, I simply pushed both buttons down and the locked sign let me know the tray was secured.
The Baby Bud Booster straps securely onto a chair with two straps, one on the back and one underneath. This ensures safe seating for the child.
Our youngest is only 3 months so she is not quite able to sit in here yet. We did try her in the Baby Bud but our 9 year old stayed close to support her since she’s below the suggested age and can’t fully support herself yet.
Our 2 year old loved the Baby Bud. He jumped right in the very first time he saw it and claimed it for his own. He really likes sitting in it and I like that I can strap him in.
