As a busy mom to five young children, I am definitely not winning the “best dressed” award too often. At any typical point during the day, I may be covered in food, fingerprints, dirt, and even spit up. Since I’m a stay-at-home mom/farmer’s wife/homeschool teacher, this isn’t usually a big problem. However, the older I get, the more important it is to me to have functional clothes that do look presentable for when I need to leave the house. I came across Peek-a-boo Maternity & Nursing Wear and was so thrilled with what I found that I wanted to share them with you.

The first thing that struck me as completely genius was the fact that Peek-a-boo clothing is dual purpose. Their garments are designed to be wearable as maternity and also after! They are breastfeeding friendly but not exclusive to that so if nursing doesn’t work out or isn’t your thing, you can still wear these fashionable clothes after baby arrives. The construction of their items is completely genius as they do not look like maternity wear, which is why I am thrilled to be able to get long-time use from my top.

I received the Cap Sleeve Top for this review. It is quickly becoming a favorite top of mine for multiple reasons. The overall design and rouching helps conceal my left over “baby belly” while allowing me to easily nurse our daughter with discretion. I’ve never been real big on using a cover because both baby and I get overheated, so this Cap Sleeve Nursing Top allows me to nurse her without worry. At our family Christmas, nobody noticed I was feeding her in the living room instead of just rocking her. While I started the day with a shrug over my Peek-a-boo Top, I loved that I was able to remove it when I got too warm.
