I was recently asked to review a new Quantum Scale. I received a Quantum Scale last year, so I asked my mom if she would like to review the new one. She jumped at the opportunity. The following are her words:
I love my Quantum Scale. Trust me, I’ve owned many different bathroom scales during my 59 years, and each and every one of them had a feature that I absolutely didn’t want to live without…but none of them have been like my Quantum Scale.
What makes this scale so special? I don’t know where to begin. From the minute I removed it from the package, I immediately noticed the low profile. It’s only about ½ to ¾ of an inch high so it doesn’t look big and bulky in our small bathroom. It fits neatly in the corner.
All I need to do is gently tap the top of it and the scale “turns on”. I’ve had some where I had to almost jump on the scale to get the dial to light up. Then I had to wait for the sale to “cycle” until it was ready for me to step on it. By the time the scale was ready for me, I had lost interest. Lol Not the case with my Quantum Scale. I tap it and it’s immediately ready for me.
Another feature I truly appreciate more than I ever thought I would is that I can “turn off” the weight. That’s right. I don’t have to look at my weight in numbers every time I weigh myself. At first, I thought that was a crazy idea. Why would I not want to see what I weigh and how much I had lost or gained since the last time I was on the scale? Rather than not use the feature, I decided to try it. I was hooked. No longer do I have to stare at that number every time I get on the scale and get bummed out that the number isn’t decreasing fast enough, now I just look at a little “+” or “-“ sign. Even on those days where I haven’t changed weight since the last time, I’m not staring at a number that I would rather not stare at. I just feel “balanced” on those days. I don’t kick myself for not seeing a smaller number.
One of the nicest features of my Quantum Scale is that more than one person can be programmed into it. So, if my husband decides to weigh himself, he can track his weight. The scale will know which user is on the scale.
…and the scale is so easy to clean. The top of the scale is one flat surface so all I need to do is wipe it off. There are no cracks or crevices to clean or areas that get dust in them.
If the Quantum Scale just had one or two of these features, it would be a big hit with me but considering that is has ALL of these features, I’m very happy and satisfied with it.

I bought this scale and it was the worst scale I have purchased. The number changed by as much as 5 pounds in 30 seconds. I’ve contacted the company four times and never received one response.

As of early 2018, it appears the company is on the verge of going out of business. I purchased a scale last week and it is defective. No response from the company (via email and phone), and the phone number listed belongs to an individual living in Kitchener, Ontario. It may not be a full-fledged scam, but I’d definitely recommend avoiding any purchases from Quantumscale.com. I’m having PayPal and Visa investigate them.

My mom gave me a Quantum scale and it won’t show the weight or the pounds lost. The scale comes on and just stays at 0. She has one and it works fine. I’m disappointed .

My scales seem to last forever and I’m ok with the one I currently have. Some day I’d like to get one that tells you more about your progress but I can plug my numbers into an app I guess. I like very thin scales too since I don’t have storage place for bulky ones.
