These are my own honest opinions.
I don’t know what it is when men and technology but I do know that many men will be over the moon when they receive techy gadgets. Thing is, you only need so many USB sticks and wireless mice. So the key is finding something new and innovating yet practical. Sengled, a Shanghai-based company, has taken it upon itself to create unique products by combining electronics with energy-saving LED lighting. The resulting products are totally unique!
There is the Boost, which is a Wifi repeater LED light bulb because every tree house deserves wifi! There is the Snap, which is a wireless HD camera with a LED light bulb to keep an eye on your home or your office. There is the Element Touch, a dimmable LED light bulb which can be controlled wirelessly or at the touch of a button directly on the bulb.
There is also the Pulse, which combines a wireless speakers with LED light bulbs. This is the products Sengled sent me for review. So the Pulse is a set of 2 LED bulbs that are little oversized but still fit into any standard light socket.
LED lights are great because they last longer than regular incandecent light bulbs and require only a fraction of the energy, making them both greener and cheaper in the long run. What I like about these light bulbs is that they are dimmable so you can easily adjust them to your need and create the ambiance you want.
As for the speaker feature, inside each bulb is a JBL Bluetooth speaker which means you can get a rich stereo sound when you place both light bulbs in the same room. You also have the option of setting them up on different rooms and even adding up to 6 ‘satellite’ bulbs all around your house for a combined total of 8 linked light bulb/speakers. The bulbs have a range of 100 feet. I set both of mind in the same room and I find the sound quality to be outstanding. It’s quite amazing that such small devices can produce such crisp and powerful sounds.
What’s great is that the wireless features means it’s easy to install, no wires or power cords! You can literally take it out of the box, twist it in place, pair it up with your phone and download the app in 5 minutes, then start enjoying your favorite music in a cozy atmosphere.
Another great feature of the Pulse is that it is entirely controlled by your smartphone, no need for extra remote controls. Not only is it super easy to pair with your smartphone via Bluetooth (I didn’t even have to read the instructions), it’s also very straight forward to control with the Sengled app which is available both for iOS and Android devices. The lighting and music are controlled independently and you can play the music with any app you want, as long as your Bluetooth fonction is activated, the music will be played on the Pulse.
The Pulse comes in red, gray or white. You can purchase the 2-bulb starter kit and add up to 6 ‘satellites’ which will all be linked. It is possible to get a single speaker+light bulb called the Pulse Solo (only comes in white). You can also get a subwoofer adapter called the Pulse Amp to enhance the bass of your Pulse speaker system.
As I said, the Pulse is a practical way to make the best of small spaces and technology by combining electronics and lighting into one. It’s perfect to customize your environment to your mood! The Pulse is sure to please the technology enthusiasts and the music lovers on your list as well as those who live in smaller spaces and love eco-friendly gifts.

I don’t know about maen, but i Do like this gadget a lot. Especially that it is entirely controlled by a smartphone, no need for extra remote controls, which we always loose or misplaced here

I have no idea what to get techie guys and to add to it, my sister is techie as well but I am not! The latest speakers are always a great gift and these are so great to multi-task, which I know they appreciate. I love you can control them with your smartphone too.

Goodness who would have thought that is a speaker? I cant believe all of those things are involved. I like how it is LED, that does make it last a whole lot longer. Super big bulb though for sure.
