For my review, I received a Toshiba Satellite C55 C5390 Laptop with Windows 10. The Toshiba Satellite laptop is designed for reliable and efficient everyday use. Laptop users can combine business and pleasure in one; complete work assignments, watch movies, play software games, and listen to your favorite music.

This is the first Toshiba laptop I have ever had so I was very excited to learn how to use all of the many excellent features I was unaccustomed to. A few things I noticed right away were the webcam, screen, speakers and keyboard. The HDMI webcam enables you to have high‐quality video calls. This is a great business tool but also one I can’t wait to put into use with all of my extended family members that I don’t get to visit with in person. The TruTalk dual microphone provides clear speaking complete with volume control so visiting with my long distance family will be even better. It will be as if they truly are in the room with me.

The TruBrite widescreen display offers a crisp clear picture with vibrant colors which helps tremendously with the type of work I do. The keyboard is a frameless TruType keyboard so users can comfortably input data, zoom images, and scroll though pages. A 10‐keypad allows you to quickly calculate figures. No excuse now for not balancing my checkbook or putting together next year’s business plan.

My previous computer had Windows 7. The Toshiba Satellite C55 C5390 operates with Windows 10. It is taking me a bit of time to adjust but that’s to be expected with any software update. I have no doubt within a reasonably short time, I’ll be wondering how I survived without having Windows 10.

The exterior of the notebook is black in color with what I’m going to call a wood grain texture for a lack of a better description. It is a sophisticated chic look, perfect for both genders. I appreciate its slim design and that it’s very light weight. This makes it really easy to take with me when I work at our local library or the times when I have to take work with me on vacation.

Getting started and personalizing my Toshiba Satellite C55 C5390 laptop was also easy. Obviously the first place to start is connecting to a power source and the internet. Then I was guided through a few questions and product registration. Finally, I decided to personalize my laptop with a new background. Really this whole process only took a few minutes. Had I of needed help, the laptop came with literature to walk me through everything. I was also give the Toshiba care support phone number.

I am extremely pleased with my new Toshiba Satellite C55 C5390 laptop. It has all the options I need, the programs I want, and ample storage for my photos, files and documents. The speed and efficiency have also been a great improvement from my old laptop.

The Toshiba Satellite C55 C5390 Laptop is perfect for me to write my reviews on, store family photos and run my home based health and wellness business. The only “problem” I foresee is convincing the rest of the family that this is MY computer and they get the old one.
