Thank you to The Dunk Collection for providing me with product, free of charge, in exchange for this honest review. All opinions are 100% my own.
At Christmas time, my daughters saw the commercials for the basketball hoop laundry hampers. They thought the hoop looked like a lot of fun. I thought…perhaps this will help them clean their bedrooms. Time passed and I forgot to look into getting them the hampers.
Fast forward to April. I was asked to review the Dirty Dunk laundry hamper. I was thrilled to learn that they were going to send me two hampers, one for each daughter. I kept it a secret until the packages arrived. The girls were surprised to say the least.

Let me tell you a little bit about the Dirty Dunk laundry hamper, in case you aren’t familiar with it. The Dirty Dunk laundry hamper has a basketball hoop and backboard. Attached to the rim is a net bag with a drawstring bottom opening. Kids get to have fun shooting hops, with their dirty laundry, all while cleaning their bedroom.
The Dirty Dunk comes with two brackets that slide easily over the top of a bedroom door. This worked well for my daughter with the walk-in closet. My other daughter has bi-fold doors on her closet and the back of her bedroom door is up against a wall. The bracket hangers were not going to work for her bedroom. To make her Dirty Dunk work, I simply removed the brackets and secured the backboard to a wall-stud.
Both girls love the Dirty Dunk. I am happy to report that they now pick up their dirty laundry. Now if I could just figure out a way to get them to put away their clean clothes.

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.

I love all three, I have two kids that need the laundry dunk and one of them also would need the paper dunk. I think they are hilarious and a fun way to pick up the laundry and paper floating around the room. Hey, you might even become a better basketball player!

Puts a whole new meaning to “throw it through the hoop.” You could even double an unused clean trash can as a laundry basket, if you are really feeling in the spirit. Love the product.

What a fun way to encourage kids (and maybe even some grown guys) to pick up their dirty laundry. Even if they just manage to dunk their socks in the thing, it would be worth it! Very cute hamper.
