I’m always surprised how quickly summer goes by. I saw a fireworks stand in town a few days ago and thought gosh they’re early. Then it hit me that the 4th is less than 3 weeks away! Where did June go?
When life gets busy, it’s easy to forget to run to the store for household basics and I sometimes find myself running out. One summer we bought a watermelon for a trip to the beach and it fell off the counter and smashed all over the floor. I knew we had finished a roll of paper towel, so I went to grab a fresh one from under the sink only to realize we had no more ‘backup’ rolls. It was so messy to have to clean an entire watermelon off the floor with cloth towels! It would be just as problematic to run out of other common household products like toothpaste, toilet paper or dish soap.
Walmart.com is a really convenient place to shop for household basics like toilet paper, shampoo, dish soap and more. Shipping is free if your order is $50 or more, and the items ship right to your house with 2 day shipping.
I was recently browsing the Avoid The Oops section of Walmart.com. It’s full of household products that you don’t want to run out of during summer. I found several of my favorite brands listed so I stocked up on essentials like Charmin toilet paper, Always feminine pads, Pampers wipes (so convenient to have on hand even if you don’t have a baby or toddler), Dawn dish soap, Head & Shoulders Shampoo and Crest toothpaste.
It was so convenient to have my household staples show up on my doorstep just two days after I placed my order. I was thankful that I could buy the big packs of products without having to get them through the cashiers line, in and out of my cart and into my car. Being able to buy in bulk without buying in person could be a huge help especially for moms with young kids who don’t have both hands free to handle large items. Plus, all the prices were similar to what I would expect to pay in store. I love saving money per unit by buying larger sizes of items that I know I’ll use up in time.
Head over to the AvoidTheOops.com (which lets you shop through a certain section of Walmart.com) to stock up!

This sounds like such a great deal and would be so handy for our family.

I always make sure we all stocked up on our toiletry and cleaning products. I do a metric ton of online shopping with Walmart because the shipping is FREE. Boom!

I adore being able to have everything shipped right to me!! So convenient!! Taking my toddler shopping can be such a mess sometimes!!
-
I see this all the time in my house- with paper towels a lot of the time! Or with soap! Hee hee – I tend to hide things I don’t want to share when we are running out

This is such a great way to make sure you never run out of what you need! I am notorious for forgetting toilet paper until we are down to the last roll or 2.
-
Toilet paper and tooth paste always seem to be the things we run out of. I try to buy several packages at once.
-
I keep pretty well stocked but then again, I don’t have many to shop for. I tried a sample of the Head & Shoulders shampoo & conditioner you pictured and would love to get a large container of that at Walmart.

I’ll definitely be stocking up to avoid the oops. They have so many useful supplies in that section!

Usual product that we must have at home. Make sure that you have this.

I haven’t tried shopping online for this stuff. I think I should start doing this, our toilet papers disappear so quickly.
-
I’ll have to check it out and see if it’s cheaper. Thanks for the idea.

I didn’t know Walmart had such a section. It’s a genius idea though and very helpful. Running out of common household items is never fun.

Isn’t it amazing that Walmart delivers? I really appreciate that because there are days wherein I can’t go out and shop. This is definitely a service worth taking advantage of!
-
Haven’t tried shopping online for groceries. There’s a shop here in our country that offers delivery service and I might try it if I really don’t have a choice.
-
I love all of these products. I actually just got some of these not long ago as well. I love being able to get them at Walmart or online from Walmart as well.
-
Love being able to stock up online!!! With three kids running to the store can add up fast with all their extras they want.
-
Now this is definitely convenient! I haven’t really tried this but I sure will do, it can totally save me so much time.
-
I love having household products delivered right to my door. I hate going out to shop for them. lol
-
I love shopping from home! I will definitely check this out!
-
I need to try this out. I love to shop at Walmart but sometimes i just do not have the time to go.
-
I always keep our house stocked up with toilet paper!!! That is definitely one thing you never want to run out of!
-
I will definitely have to look into this! There is nothing like the feeling when you use the last of a roll of toilet paper and you had no idea that you were out of it to begin with.
-
I don’t allow our home to be run out of bathroom essentials. I’ll check this shop so I can have some other options.
-
I do 99% of my shopping online so I’ll have to check this out. My main two stores are Walmart and Amazon.
-
wow, what an awesome way to shop! So convenient and practical. Thanks for sharing!

I love shopping online, although I still make opps! In fact, we just ran out of dog food so I had to go get some at my MILs until our order came. Opps! 😛

This is such a convenient feature! I love stocking up on all of my families necessities, it brings me peace of mind and saves me a ton of time. I have a 7, 3, and 2 year old, so nothing we do is ever quick and easy! 🙂
This is such a good service. If I had a bigger family, I would be using this. I am going to tell my son about it. It would help them with their shopping and time management.
