When we moved into our home eight years ago, our metal mailbox was in OK shape. It had seen better days but still had some life in it. We were reluctant to replace it because it is large and we knew it could be not easy to find a replacement in the same size (or even larger) that would still fit our shared mailbox post. A Snow Shield™ Mailbox Guard protects your mailbox from extreme weather conditions. It will shield your mail from wet heavy snow being tossed aside by snowplows. The Snow Shield Mailbox Guard has a slight curve design, a snowflake embellishment with a centered safety reflector. Step2 also included a space for you to display your house numbers making it easy for guests, delivery drivers, and emergency services to locate your address.
Last weekend, my husband installed our Town-to-Town XL Post-Mount Mailbox™ and Snow Shield™ Mailbox Guard. Both products feel well made and live up to the Step2 standards. I believe they will last us a long time and keep our mail protected from the weather.

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. How I wish I had this! I live in a large apartment building, and sometimes the mailman just leaves the mail on the counter in the mailroom, without any security at all. Anyone can just grab your mail!
I like step by step products. The plastic is sturdy!
