Thank you to Timex for providing me with product in exchange for this honest blog review. All opinions are 100% my own.
Neither my husband or I wear watches on a regular basis. My husband has a rugged job that often has him working outdoors in yucky weather or indoors with heavy machinery. If he wore a watch it would likely get ruined or pose as a safety hazard. I work from home with constantly changing tasks. Some days I am inside doing office work, other days can be housework, sometimes farm chores and other times helping in my daughters’ classrooms. For me, wearing a watch would likely just get in the way or dirty.
Even though we can’t wear watches every day, we have both said that it would be nice to have one for the times when we do get dressed up. I decided to get us both Timex watches for Christmas.
Give him the gift of time. The silver-tone Briarwood Terrace watch from Timex has a classic look and feel. It has an adjustable brushed stainless steel bracelet, an oversized face, and it is water resistant. The bracelet has a buckle clasp for secure closure. I haven’t given the Briarwood Terrace watch to my husband yet. I have worn it around our house. I worried that it might be heavy but that isn’t the case at all. I think he is really going to like this watch.
For myself, I chose The Weekender Chrono Oversized watch in the Gold-Tone/Brown/Cream color combination. This watch makes a statement. It has a soft Leather NATO Slip-Thru strap, brushed brass casing, and an oversized face. The Weekender Chrono Oversized watch also has an INDIGLO night-light with night-mode and a date feature. The Weekender Chrono Oversized watch is so comfortable to wear. I just love it!
Timex watches make great stocking stuffers for everyone in the family.

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.
