I was provided with Attack On Titan for Steam in exchange for inclusion in my gift guide. All opinions are my own.
Ryan doesn’t buy much for himself throughout the year. He tends to spend our extra money on me instead of himself. It’s very sweet of him, but sometimes it makes me feel a little bit bad. As a result, I tend to get him several gifts for gift-giving occasions like Christmas. I try to include a few things he needs, a few practical gifts and a few fun gifts so that overall there is a well rounded assortment.
While he does appreciate gifts that fill his needs, the for fun gifts are certainly more fun. Ryan’s main way of taking time to himself to relax is playing computer games. He watches YouTube channels that discuss games and keeps a list of ones that he’d like to try based on recommendations from YouTube, Reddit and other sites that he visits. One of the games that has been on his wish list was Attack On Titan. I’m excited to be able to provide him with a steam code for the game this Christmas.
Attack On Titan just came out in August 2016 here in the US. It’s a hack and slash video game that is rated M which is for ages 17 on up. It’s based on an anime called the same thing, Attack On Titan. It is a fast paced battle action game that provides a claustrophobic environment. It’s set in a location that has three gigantic walls that were built around a human settlement, as protection against human-like titans. In the game, one of the titans breaks down one of the three walls creating chaos after over 100 years of peace. Humanity is threatened so the heroes have to fight off the titans and also discover the mystery behind why the titans are attacking to begin with.
Here is one of the teaser trailers for the game.
The game has been really well received which is a large part of why Ryan is interested in the game. It has a 9/10 steam score and has a 74% score from metacritic. I’m excited to provide Ryan with a gift that he’ll get to relax and enjoy in his down time. Practical gifts are nice but he deserves some time to himself which is why I enjoy getting him video games as gifts.
The game can be purchased through Steam which makes it a great last-minute gift that you don’t have to even leave the house for.
Win it: A steam code for Attack On Titan. This giveaway is open worldwide and will end 12/28/2016.

I don’t know much about these games but find reviews very helpful when I know it’s on someone’s wish list. There are always last minute gifts you need and so nice you can get some online like this.
