One of Ryan’s childhood friends moved a few hours away after college. They are still friends, but due to the distance and work schedules they only see each other a couple times per year. This week their work schedules worked out so that they could get together this week. Ryan left early one morning and came home the following afternoon. He maintained Nutrisytem on the trip. He brought two “bars”, one breakfast bar that he ate in the car on the way there, and a lunch bar that he ate on the way home the next afternoon. He brought along shelf-stable microwavable entrees for the remaining meals, as well as a bag of apples (SmartCarbs) and nuts (PowerFuels) so that nothing needed to be refrigerated or required more than a microwave and a utensil to prepare.
Sometimes we travel with our dogs.
He had hung out with this friend in the past, since starting Nutrisystem so he just reminded the friend that he would be eating on his own, and there was no need to plan to cook larger portions of food while he was there because Ryan wouldn’t be eating with him.
Nutrisystem really makes it easy to maintain routine even when traveling or otherwise not being at home. With many meals being shelf-stable, and almost all meals only requiring a microwave to prepare it’s easy to make Nutrisystem work from almost anywhere.
