Sending a big thank you to Go Teach for sponsoring this post and sending us some classroom goodies!

May is Teacher Appreciation Month.  It’s great timing with the end of the school year as it’s the perfect time to show your love for those teachers in your life.

Teachers face dilemmas and challenges every day but many still go into “battle” with dedication and love for their passion.  In other words, teachers ROCK!  Yet, so often, they feel alone.  We have several friends who were or are currently teachers and they are great at what they do.  They went in to teaching to make a difference and help kids succeed.   While some days they feel defeated, I think it’s helpful for them when they feel like parents, students, and co-workers appreciate all of their time and energy.

So now I want to introduce you to Go Teach!  This online community is there to help and this month, in honor of Teacher Appreciation, they are hosting a month-long daily giveaway and product sweepstakes!  Each day will be a new chance for teachers to win a classroom prize-pack and ten lucky winners will win the grand prize – A classroom product supply for one year (which is a prize valued at over $500)!

So be sure to head over to the Go Teach! Facebook Page and answer their daily questions for your chance to win and be sure to nominate that special teacher in your life for the ultimate grand prize!  They already announced two of their big winners on May 9th with more coming soon.  Sending big congratulations to Ms. Ashley Butterworth & Ms. Amy Brim on their fully stocked classrooms from some of our favorites like Elmer’s Glue, Sharpie, EXPO, Paper Mate, PrismaColor, Mr. Sketch Scented, and X-ACTO.

So tell me, do you have any special memories about a great teacher from your childhood?  Or do you have an amazing teacher in your life right now? If so, head over and Nominate That Teacher right now!

This sounds like a great online community! I homeschool my kids, but I definitely remember a few teachers that I loved during my school days! 🙂 I think it’s wonderful that you can nominate teachers, they don’t get the appreciation the deserve often enough.
