Pardon our dust, construction work in progress! As I type this update, we have a crew of two men tearing apart our family kitchen. This is the second step of our big kitchen remodel…our first step was removing the appliances and kitchen sink. The crew here today is tearing out the 1989 cobalt blue tile countertops. In two weeks, they will return to install new black granite counter tops. Then we will remove the linoleum flooring and install new tile flooring. We will also be installing tile backsplash and new appliances. After that, our oak cabinets will get a fresh coat of Cottage White paint and new hardware. I look forward to the day when I can sit back and admire our updated kitchen! In the mean time, we are living in a construction zone! Old appliances are in our dining room until they can be hauled away. We have set up a temporary kitchen in our mudroom with a sink, microwave, and coffee pot.
During this chaotic time, I am so thankful to have the convenience of Nutrisystem meals. Most of my meals can be prepared in the microwave. Some can even be cooked on the bbq grill along side my family’s meals. Having convenient and nutritious meals made for me is a life saver I simply heat and eat. With all the stress of the remodeling project, it is nice to have one less thing to worry about. Thank you, Nutrisystem!

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.

We are in similar situation. We are painting our oak cabinet with new hardware this week and the new floor is coming in next week. I am glad the appliances are good. Good luck for the next month while you try to get back to normal.
