Nutri Ninja Blendmax Duo

Thank you to Ninja for providing me with product in exchange for review purposes. All opinions belong to me.

Besides a tiny house I might have one of the smallest kitchens for a family of 4 soon to be 5. Saving space in the kitchen is a huge deal to me because of our small space. When it comes to kitchen appliances I am very picky about what I allow to be a part of the counter space and what gets put away in the cabinets below. My husband and I typically slice and dice everything that we need by hand. This includes mostly vegetables for dinner and pre prepped fruits for the week. When it comes to needing to rice cauliflower or shred carrots for carrot cake we just skip the recipes altogether as we don’t have a food processor and can’t justify the counter space or cash for that and a blender. So why not have the two combined into one!

The Nutri Ninja BlendMax Duo allows me to make everything from homemade peanut butter, cashew milk, morning smoothies, even riced cauliflower!

Nutri Ninja Blendmax Duo

The BlendMax Duo comes with the following;

  • 1600-Watt Motor Base with Auto-iQ Boost
  • 88 oz.† Total Crushing® Pitcher with Lid and Pour Spout
  • Total Crushing® Blades
  • (2) 24 oz. Tritan Nutri Ninja® Cups
  • (2) Spout Lids
  • Pro Extractor Blades® Assembly
  • Instruction Book
  • 75-Recipe Cookbook
  • Quick Start Guide

I really like that according to the amount of ingredients I have or guests I have I can change the vessel in which I blend with. If I’m only making myself a smoothie I can use one of the cups and blend it in a few seconds, snap on a lid and go. If I have more guests over I can use the large pitcher to create enough smoothie for everyone without having to half the ingredients and mix twice.

Another favorite in my house is banana ice cream since we are mostly dairy free. Frozen solid bananas are no challenge to this blender as they are quickly blended to an ultra smooth creamy consistency. Adding in a couple chocolate chips at the end perfects a late night treat for myself and the kids without any of the tummy trouble we normally face with dairy.

Most people think desserts when thinking about a blender but the included recipe book shows so many more options like sauces, dips and soups even.

The possibilities with the Nutri Ninja BlendMax Duo are endless with the option to purchase additional accessories as well to increase the versatility of this awesome machine!

The first recipe I made was the PB Jammer. The way the recipes are written includes the order in which you should place the ingredients as well as what vessel and setting to use to blend.

Simple ingredients like a frozen banana, strawberries, milk (cashew in our case), peanut butter and ice completed this light but perfectly flavored smoothie.

My husband makes the joke that this blender looks like a space blender that you could get to the moon with, in reality I think he just loves the high tech face of the machine.

You might be wondering what the Auto IQ Boost is, below is the chart that explains why and when to use it!

The suction cups on the bottom of this blender are such a smart design considering once you get 1600 Watts of power going it doesn’t take much to rattle off the counter. I love that these stick and stay in place so easily.

I am more than happy with the way this blender performs on sweet treats and frozen desserts and can not wait to try it for soup, hummus, and shredded veggies that I can sneak into everything like spaghetti sauce and chili! What are your go to blender/smoothie recipes? Share with me in the comments as I have yet to perfect the ease of knowing just how much and what types of ingredients go best with each other!

I’d love to have one of these and so would my wife, she started drinking smoothies for lunch a little while ago. I bet the Ninja would really go through some fruits and vegetables! I like that it also has a single serving cup.
