I partnered with Pilot Pens to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.
Back in my school days, I would spend my spare minutes in class doodling. Creating colorful drawings, hearts, faces, smiling suns, flowers, and whatever else would come to mind. Anything to make my notebooks and agenda a bit more colorful, peppy, and fun. And being creative has actually been praised in studies as it provides many benefits in life. There are social benefits, fine motor skill benefits, and more.
Of our five kids, we have one who is drawing almost non-stop. She has several sketchbooks and her notebooks almost always contain doodles too. Our other four do love to play around with colorful pens and markers too, just not to the same extent. And since it’s so great to encourage kids to be creative, I wanted to make sure you consider Pilot Pens this Valentine’s Day.

An Alternative To Candy
Most parents these days would probably prefer that their child doesn’t come home with an entire Valentine Box full of candy. I know I would! This year, my kids are giving a variety of things to their homeschool co-op friends. This includes items like bubbles, Valentine heart bracelet, fun decorative pencils, Pilot Pen products, and, yes, one of the kids is giving candy bracelets. (One sweet treat out of five seemed reasonable to me!)
Pilot Pens = A Great Valentine
Tie a Pilot Pen to a Valentine with a ribbon and you’re done! Or even, pick up a pack of the Pilot FriXion Erasable Marker Pens, 12ct – Multicolor and let your kids get busy decorating their Valentines! My husband is a huge pen fanatic and I can’t wait to give him his own Pilot‘s Signature G2 Gel Ink Pen. He is super picky and I know he’ll absolutely love it! And my own kids will be finding their very own Pilot‘s Precise Deco Collection Pens with their names on them come Valentines morning as these pens glide and write so effortlessly that I know they’ll enjoy using them for their journals.
Buy It: Head over to Pilot Pen to see for yourself the great selection of products they offer as they even have a custom monogram shop where you can customize your favorite pens.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.

I was obsessed with pens when I was in school! Especially all of the colorful ones, and glittery gel pens were the best! Pilot has definitely always been one of my favorite brands too. What a great non-candy gift for Valentines Day, thanks for sharing!

Pilot is such a trusted brand . I think I have several of this brand in my purse right now. I love the way they write a preform. They are always dependable. They would make a nice gift.

That is a great idea for a Valentine. we are all scribblers/writers in my house. My son loves the pilot G2 fine point and would be very happy with a nice notebook and one of his favorite pens.
