Summer is almost here! So with spring in full swing, we are totally enjoying all that the change in seasons has to offer. With all the warm weather we’ve been having in Minnesota, it’s been a welcome change from the bitter cold winter that went into April this year! It’s also time to get outside and get busy. We have a variety of projects in the works. From a new playground install to just the typical chores of cutting grass and taking care of animals. There is just so much to do!
Work Hard, Play Hard
We have a variety of animals including cows, chickens, mini-horses, cats, and dogs. So there’s always feeding to do, cleaning pens, and just general care of the animals. Plus, the oldest two kids are taking horse lessons to learn how to care for and ride as we are hoping to add some big horses to our farm this year! We will see as I don’t want to rush into anything. I am not very knowledgeable about horses myself so I want to make sure we get some good ones that will be gentle and a good fit for us.
Plus, living in the country just means that we get to also play hard! Whether riding bikes, climbing dirt piles, or hitting the 4-wheeler trails, we love to stay busy outdoors and away from screens. And then there’s always trips to the local playgrounds too.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. We love Softsoap! I have been using it for many years. I like the way it suds up an it really does a terrific job cleaning up. I keep some in the kitchen and in the bathroom!

I like the PurZen SoftSoap. I love that Soft Soap has been around so long. I used to use their soap for hand soap exclusively. I am looking now for a guest bathroom bodywash and I think I will give the Zen soap a try.
