I’ve always wanted a welcoming entry to our home. And honestly, it’s taken many years to get to that point. When we first bought the farm from my husbands parents, the entry way actually had a wall down the center of it. This made it a tight cramped place where there was literally nowhere to go or space to be had for removing coats and shoes. So the very first thing we did was tear out that wall. That gave me a nice large 9’x9′ area to work with.

Throughout the years, I’ve slowly decorated the space. However, it just wasn’t what I had envisioned. So just recently, I started re-doing the space again. The walls got a fresh, lighter coat of paint. And I created a family photo gallery wall too. Plus, I just placed my order for a custom wall entry way bench unit. (Although, because it has to be made, I have to wait on that for another 6 weeks. But I know it will make the area so awesome, useful, and function-able.)

So now that I have my interior space almost to the point I imagined, I really wanted to make my front door a little more interesting and inviting. I’ve been keeping an eye out at our local stores for a couple months now for a gorgeous, bright, and cheery wreath. Sadly though, I hadn’t yet found what I was looking for. I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.

This wreath is beautiful. It looks like a wreath you can use during most seasons. I would love to display something like this on my door.

Thats a beautiful wreath. I love all the colors. I love your door too!!! Older homes sometimes take awhile to get them how you want them, you hae to bend them into your style! Your entry sounds like it will be so nice when it is done and a good bench will make boots, and such easier as wellas some storage.

The wreath is so pretty. As the flower fade, you can actually replace them. Or put in seasonal flowers…. I like that.
