I have three nieces and two nephews between the ages of three years old and almost twelve years old. I enjoy giving them board games for Christmas. This year, I found several board games to give at Winning Moves Games.
Crackers In My Bed is a delicious matching game. Players need to find crackers hidden in bears bed, make a cracker match (top and bottom,) and feed bear the cracker matches. The spinner (included) determines which color of cracker you select from bear’s bed. The first player to feed bear all of their crackers, wins! Crackers In My Bed is for two-four players, ages four and up.
Ice Pop Swap is a sweet swapping game. Players race to see who can collect four ice pop sticks of one color. While playing, be aware of the icky sticks! Icky sticks can make a mess of your winning hand. Ice Pop Swap is for two-four players, ages four and up.
Pass The Pigs is a game of chance. Players roll the pig-dice trying to earn as many points as possible. Be careful when you roll, you don’t want to accidentally “pig out!” Pass The Pig is great for groups of two or more, ages seven and up. Pass The Pigs is a favorite game in our house. We play this at home and take it with us on airplanes.
Rubik’s Tower and Rubik’s Tactile Cube have new twists on the classic Rubik’s cube design. Rubik’s Tower is 2x2x4 in size. The Tower is basically two classic cubes stacked on top of each other. The Rubik’s Tactile Cube is a 3x3x3 structure. Each cube has been embossed with a shape. The shapes make it possible for people with vision impairments to be able to solve the cube. Or, players can challenge themselves by solving the Tactile Cube with their eyes closed. Rubik’s Cubes are suggested for kids ages eight and older.

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.
