    thank you for getting these for us. After the Holiday season the giveaways are hard to find (bloggers need a break understandingly).

    • In part we do need a break. I’d say the end of December we are slow just because we are taking a break. But now that we are a bit into January I’m not intentionally on break. It’s hard to get accepted for reviews and giveaways this time of year as brands just do less advertising in general. The first quarter of the calendar year seems to be the slowest for advertising and the last quarter of the year is the busiest so the contrast feels really stark. I don’t think it’s unique to blogs either. I follow youtube channels that talk about how its hard to get advertisers, particularly in january and february. I assume it’s because the average household does a lot more shopping, particularly of non-essential items, in the late fall than they do in the beginning of the year.
