Thank you to Gentleman’s Box for sending me product. As always, all opinions are my own.

My husband is hard to shop for, and since we just recently finished celebrating Christmas, I was at a loss as to what to give him for Valentine’s Day. Gift giving is my love language, so it’s important to me to find personal gifts he’ll really love and use. One thing he seems to be lacking in right now are clothes and accessories for dressy occasions. We attend a few weddings, banquets, and other events during the year and he tends to either wear the same thing each time or purchase new items about two days before we have something going on. I decided to help him out this year by getting him Gentleman’s Box!

Gentleman’s Box

Gentleman’s Box is a subscription service for men looking for curated, high quality products to use in their every day lives. While my husband is an electrician whose daily wardrobe doesn’t contain much besides a t-shirt, work boots, and sturdy jeans, he does clean up very well! He’s always liked the finer things in life so I knew he’d love Gentleman’s Box for Valentines Day this year. With this subscription service, you’ve got two options: a classic subscription that arrives monthly, or a premium subscription that ships out quarterly. Here’s a look at my husband’s classic subscription.

The first item is a sample of Dude Wipes. Started by four college friends, these wipes give men an alternative to traditional baby wipes or toilet paper. They can also be used to clean up while on the go, like after the gym or a night out. I can see how these would come in handy if you head straight to work from the gym!

This box also contained a really nice 100% cotton tie from Oak & Stone. My husband wears a lot of greys and neutrals when it comes to formal attire, so this fits into his closet perfectly. At a value of $40, this product alone is worth more than you pay for one classic month of Gentleman’s Box.

Probably my favorite item from the box, this Umbrella Tie Clip is from BKS Custom Clothiers. It’s such a classy tie clip and also a great conversation piece! Since my husband only owns one tie clip (and a rather boring one at that), this is a great addition to his collection. It retails for $25.

A great pair of socks are always a hit, and this unique pair comes from Barnaby, a company started in Melbourne, Australia. Who says socks need to be boring? These are anything but! They feel very high quality and have an interesting feature; a button that holds the socks together so you can’t lose just one.

This Bow Tie Lapel Pin from Oak & Stone is another big hit for me. It fits right into a suit jacket lapel and is the perfect addition to any dressy outfit! This lapel pin sells for $19.

Each box comes with a booklet showing the products, their value, and how they can be utilized and worn. I love this, because neither my husband nor I are very active in the fashion world and it’s helpful to get color coordination tips and see how others are using certain products.

I know my husband will be excited about all of these products and their value for the cost of the box especially. While he loves high quality items, he also loves a great deal! While the classic subscription is a great deal, I also really love the Gentleman’s Box Premium Subscription. The premium subscription is available for shipment in September, December, March, and June. It contains over $300 in product starting at $100/month depending on the number of boxes you subscribe to. Each box contains 4-6 premium high-value items as well as a free year’s subscription to GQ magazine!
