Nadine West outfits review

I was sent a Nadine West subscription box for review. All opinions are my own. There are affiliate links in this post.

I get so excited when the big pink envelope shows up from Nadine West! It comes in an envelope so I guess it’s not really a subscription ‘box’ but it’s incredible how much they can pack into a big bubble mailer! This time my Nadine West bag included 10 items. If you are new to hearing about Nadine West, they mail you clothing and accessories based on your style profile. You get to try on the clothing right at home. They send you a prepaid mailing label so you can mail back anything that you don’t love. You only get charged for the items that you keep.

Nadine West Outfits

Nadine west bracelets

The bracelet included this month is simple but sweet, a little gold bracelet with a ring in the center. Bracelets are often big on me and this fits pretty well so it may be too small for some. I think it’s cute! It is $12.99 to keep.

Nadine west outfits dress

The dress included this month is a pretty pink color. I am not often a fan of body-con dresses because they show every little detail of your shape. I like this one a little more than others because it has two layers of the same fabric, almost like there is a built-in slip except its the same material as the outer layer. This is what causes the fabrics to roll or wrinkle a bit. I can’t really decide if people would read it as wrinkled instead of being worn properly? Or if it is obvious that it is intended to not have a smooth appearance, but either way, I don’t care for the super sleek appearance of bodycon dresses. I like this a bit more than most bodycon dresses but it’s just not really something I would wear. I love dresses but I stick with summer sundresses for the most part.  It is $20.99 to keep.

nadine west earrings

When it comes to jewelry I usually like jewelry that isn’t full-on minimalist but is fairly simple without being boring. These earrings hit the sweet spot for me. They are cute, simple, can be worn with almost anything yet aren’t tiny or boring in my opinion. They are $14.99 to keep.

Nadine west hat

Occasionally Nadine West will send out accessories other than jewelry. This month my shipment included this hat. It’s just a plain black cable-knit type hat. It fits me well, is soft to the touch and is pretty thick. Here in michigan we have cold winters so winter hats are always nice to have on hand. You can’t go wrong with a simple black hat, right? It is $14.99 to keep.

Nadine west leggings

I’ve mentioned many times before that I wear leggings all the time. I work from home so it’s just comfy and practical. I’m not very picky when it comes to leggings, but the material of these particular leggings were a problem for me. I don’t care for velvety like clothing so the texture of the fabric on these made them undesirable for me. They are $11.99 to keep.

I like this little necklace that came this month. It’s a simple rectangular pendant with a wood-like finish on the front. Like the earrings I got this month, I feel that this necklace strikes the right balance between simple yet not boring. It is $21.99 to keep, which feels a bit pricy to me for the quality based on how it feels. I like it, I just would expect the cost to be a bit cheaper than that.

Nadine west skirt review

I enjoy the print on this skirt, but I don’t really wear skirts at all. If I were to consider keeping a skirt, it would have to be a pretty casual short skirt like a skater style skirt. I seem to get one skirt almost every month, and they are almost always pencil skirts which is unfortunate as I never wear pencil skirts. Dresses and skirts are listed in the same category on the Nadine West style profile and I wish that weren’t the case. I would love to opt in to dresses but opt out of receiving skirts. However, the nice thing about Nadine West is, you don’t pay for anything that you don’t keep! This skirt is $15.49 to keep.

Nadine west outfits review

This sweater is nice and soft to the touch. I like the colors, but I’m less certain of the pattern. I like it, but I’m not sure that I love it enough to keep. It costs $25.99 to keep.

Nadine west outfit review

This top is the same size as the one above, but fits much tighter. I’d rather have this top in the next size larger. I might need to update my Nadine West account to include one size up in tops. I seem to be between shirt sizes since I put on a little weight over the fall. Yet I worry that if I go up a size, that other brands/styles of tops might be too large. Anyway, I love the criss-cross front shirts like this. This shirt is made of a fuzzy sweater-like material yet is thinner like a top. Hopefully by next winter I will have dropped the weight I’ve gained this fall so that I can get lots of wear out of it next year. It’s a keeper for me despite being a bit smaller than I’d like. It is $32.99 to keep.

Nadine West outfit

This top is the same size as the other two, and I am happy with the fit. The pattern of this shirt has some sort of V-shaped stripes, and then right down the center of the shirt there is a seam. Of course, the seam is intended as a stylistic choice but I don’t care for having that seam right in the center. It’s also mildly transparent so it would need to be worn with a camisole underneath, which I don’t really like doing in slimmer-fit tops so I’ll probably pass on keeping this shirt. It is cute but just not quite me. This top is $20.99 to keep.

I think this is my first month of Nadine West where I really liked all of the jewelry, but liked less of the clothing. The criss-cross top is going to be a favorite for me if I lose a little weight, but the rest of the clothing wasn’t quite me. I really like all three pieces of jewelry and the hat though. In my view, liking roughly half of what I was sent is still a win!

What is your favorite item out of those I was sent this month?
