Nadine west outfits review

I was sent a shipment from Nadine West. There are affiliate links in this post. All opinions are my own.

Nadine West is a clothing subscription service. They send you a handful of items per month including clothing and accessories. They’ll be in your sized and based off of your style profile where you tell the brand what color(s) ad prints you like to wear, what tones of jewelry you like, and more.

Those of you who have been following my blog for a while have seen me mention that I’ve gained around 5-10 pounds since last summer and a lot of it seems to be in my belly area. For my past few Nadine West shipments, I liked the fit of some shirts, but others I thought really highlighted the extra weight I’m carrying in my belly. So after my last shipment, I edited my style profile to change my shirt size from a small to a medium, and in the ‘I want to conceal…’ area I selected my tummy. In the past, I hadn’t asked to conceal any body part. In hindsight, I think I over-did it by going up a size *and* adjusting my style profile to select styles that conceal the belly area. While these clothes all are wearable, many of them seem too big/too shapeless for my body size and fit preferences. I just don’t want items to really hug my tummy a lot, I don’t want items that are baggy on me at all. So, I will be editing my style profile again.

This shipment was my biggest ever, it included 13 items! I was shocked at how much they fit into this pink envelope this month. After my last shipment I updated my Nadine West style profile a little bit. I think I will go back down to a small but select conceal my tummy. The awesome thing about Nadine West is, you only pay for the items that you keep. So if you find yourself needing to experiment with sizes or your style profile and you end up with items that aren’t the right size, you can just send them back using the prepaid shipping label and you won’t be charged for those items.

On the backside, this bracelet clasps with a hook similar to a necklace. I like how it is so adjustable, as I have a hard time finding bracelets that fit well. Black is one of my favorite colors, and I like how this bracelet incorporates black while still feeling feminine. This bracelet is a win for me. It is $8.99 to keep.

Nadine west dress

While I edited the size for my tops, I left my dress size at a small. This dress isn’t very form-fitting so it’s a bit roomy on me, particularly in the bust and waist area, but I like it. It has a small cutout in the back. I am short (5’1″) and it fits at a cute length for me. It would be rather short on a taller woman. It is $28.49 to keep.

March nadine west dress

Similar to the last dress, I found this dress to be a bit lacking in shape. I realize I’m asking for too much in wanting clothing that doesn’t make my mid-section boxy, yet also doesn’t highlight my stomach, haha. This dress just isn’t my style, regardless of fit. I’ve never beenĀ one to wear frayed dresses. I think it would be cute on someone else, it just isn’t for me. It is $12.99 to keep.

These earrings are definitely my style. Pretty, yet on the smaller side, dangly yet not heavy. These reflect light in a really pretty way and they would go with almost any outfit. Definitely a win for me! These are $14.99 to keep.

I mentioned above that I edited my top size to a medium. However, Nadine West will sometimes send clothing a size bigger or smaller than on your profile if they know the garment runs big or small. This was sent in a size large, I assume because it is known to run small. I feel that it fits pretty well so I’m happy with the size they sent. I think this top is cute, but it doesn’t feel like me. It is $16.49 to keep.

Nadine west leggings

I thought these leggings were a pretty color for spring. They are thin but sturdy feeling. I like how they have patches of stripes, to add a little bit of texture. I also think it makes them look slightly more athletic instead of appearing as leisure-wear. I wear leggings a lot, and the style, material and color of these all appeal to me so I was excited to get these. They are $19.99 to keep.

For most of my life, I’ve only worn necklaces that have small pendants. I find more elaborate necklaces pretty on others, but I have a hard time with them. I think most fashion necklaces seem very “loud” if you look at just the necklace, so it makes more sense to look at them within an outfit when deciding if they are too bold or not. Still, I have a hard time making up my mind. I’m still uncertain about this necklace. I’d love to hear what you guys think! It is $27.99 to keep.

The top and leggings from this outfit both came from Nadine West. The top was sent in a size large, so I assume Nadine West believed this top to fit smaller than usual. It’s a bit big on me, but not too much so I think that was probably a good call. I like the ties on the sleeves, but I really dislike stripes so this top isn’t for me. It is $22.49 to keep.

The leggings are a really bright blue which I thought was fun, but I was a little sad to realize these are fleece-lined. Even here in Michigan, the weather is getting warmer so fleece-lined leggings are a bit out of season. I would just hold them until next fall, but I have yet to find any fleece-lined leggings that stay nice after being washed and dried. They tend to get little lint balls all over them, and I’m just not willing to hand-wash and hang-dry leggings. These are $12.99 to keep.

This pink top made me really wish I had left my sizing as it was. I really like this pink top, I just wish it wasn’t too big. The choker-style collar and mesh v-neck are so cute! I just think it would look cuter on me if it were smaller. I also just like the color. It is $23.49 to keep.

Nadine west bottoms

I just love clothing that makes black feel girly. These black bottoms with pink flowers are just so cute to me. They are a light cottony material that makes them perfect for spring. They are $25.99 to keep.

Nadine west review

The top and the bottoms here both came from Nadie West. I know this is a really silly combination of items that wouldn’t naturally be worn together. However, neither of these are my style so I wasn’t really sure what to pair them with i my closet so I just threw them together to show you. Working from home online, I don’t really have use for many dressy tops which is the primary reason why the red top isn’t for me. For the bottoms, I just don’t see this style of pants worn at all in my area. I do see them online, so I suspect they are trendy in some areas but they just are too unique or trendy for a small town midwestern girl! The top is $21.49 to keep, and the bottoms are $19.99 to keep.

Remember you can sign up for Nadine West today and fill out a style profile. They’ll send you 5-13 items for you to try out at home. You can mail back anything you don’t want to pay for, and you’ll only be charged for what you keep. It’s a really fun way to try on clothing in the comfort of your own home. Most things that I am sent range from around $8-$30 each, making this a really affordable clothing subscription service.

I’d love to hear what you think about the necklace I was sent, and/or what your favorite items from this shipment are!
