I am a huge advocate of reading books, both to and with kids.  Engaging children in books from infancy has been shown to be widely beneficial. Studies have proven that growing up in a home packed with books has a large effect on literacy in later life.  As a matter of fact, it’s said that you want a minimum of 80 books in your home library even!  However, I know that many of us have lots more.  Which is a good thing!
