Thanks to Tomlyn for sending me these products. As always, all opinions are my own.

As our cats get older, I have realized we need to focus more on their health. They’re both shelter cats and our Teddy is about nine years old now, and mittens is about four. Teddy had a host of issues when we brought him home, including ear mites and injuries from frostbite he endured as a kitten. Mittens was only seven months old when we adopted him, so he came to us in good shape. While both cats are fairly healthy, I know that as they get older we need to be more diligent about providing them products to keep them that way!

Tomlyn Pet Health + Wellness Supplies

Tomlyn offers health + wellness supplies for a variety of animals, not just cats! They offer products for cats, dogs, horses, ferrets, and calves. We had the sweetest ferret for seven years and wish we’d known about this brand then. But now we’ve got two cats and are happy to use their products to keep our furbabies at peak health!

Tomlyn Hairball Remedy Chews for Cats

One of our cats suffers from hairballs at least once a week. I’m not sure why he has issues with hairballs while our other cat doesn’t, but I do get tired of hearing him gag and cleaning up his mess each week. Tomlyn’s Hairball Remedy Chews for Cats are used for the prevention and elimination of hairballs in cats. They contain mineral oil, soy lecithin, and aloe vera gel which gently lubricate ingested hair. That way it can make it through the digestive system and pass in the stool.

Tomlyn Immune Support Chews

I thought our cats could really benefit from Tomlyn’s Immune Support Chews as well, especially in winter when they’re more susceptible to respiratory illness. These chews contain 500 mg of L-lysine per chew which helps support normal respiratory health and help maintain normal eye function and health. Our older cat tends to get “runny” eyes every few months so I’m looking forward to seeing if these help.

Tomlyn Pill-Masker Paste for Cats

If your cats refuse to take pills, Tomlyn’s Pill-Masker Paste could be a huge help! This paste is easy to wrap around any pill and is bacon flavored, which our cats LOVE. It’s a moist paste that doesn’t dry out when wrapping pills, and it can be used for any size or shape pill. There are more than 50 servings per container!

Tomlyn Pre & Probiotic

Lastly, something I never considered for our cats are pre or probiotics. We use probiotics and eat fermented foods for prebiotics, but I’ve never even thought about them for our fur babies. This nutritional supplement for cats can help maintain balanced intestinal health. It contains the highest colony forming units (CFU’s) on the market and is a source of live, naturally occurring microorganisms. With one prebiotic to support the growth of beneficial bacteria and five probiotics to suppport digestive and bowel health, this little packet helps promote microorganisms that naturally occur in the gut of healthy animals. Simply dissolve in water – it’s flavorless so the cats don’t even realize they’re taking anything.

It’s great to have some products in our cupboards to support our cats’ health. I am looking forward to seeing how these supplements help them in the long run!

We have six cats here of all ages and stripes so we would make use of all these products. Especially the hairball remedy!

I have 2 cats and it is very hard for me to get my cat to take a pill of any kind. I have to crush the pill and put it in there food. Then I don’t think they are getting the full benefit of the pill. These will really come in handy.

The Tomlyn Pill-Masker Paste would have been helpful when I had my cat. She hated taking pills.

My Mother takes care of a lot of stray cats in her neighborhood. She could use all of these.
