Finding “treats” that are keto-friendly AND kid-approved can be difficult. One day while I was looking for keto foods, I stumbled upon a brand called HighKey. HighKey is a line of keto-friendly foods. They have Cheese Crunch, Cookies, Hot Cereal, Nut Butter, Sugar Substitutes, and Baking Mixes. The HighKey Mini Cookies sounded delicious so we decided to give them a try.
HighKey Mini Cookies come in two flavors- Snickerdoodle and Chocolate Chip. Both flavors are gluten-free and sugar-free.
My daughters were more than willing to try HighKey Mini Cookies. Unfortunately, I am not able to since they have coconut in them and I am allergic to coconut. Bummer!
Here is what the girls had to say.
“HighKey Mini Cookies are similar to regular cookies but better because they are gluten-free and sugar-free. Of the two flavors, chocolate chip and snickerdoodle, the chocolate chip was my favorite. HighKey Mini Cookies are mostly a crunchy cookie; they do have a bit of a chew though. The only thing I would change about HighKey is having more Mini Cookie flavors. They should have a ginger snap Mini Cookies and peanut butter Mini Cookies !” Cheyenne, 10 years old
“HighKey Mini Cookies are delicious! They are a wonderful alternative to traditional cookies. I preferred the chocolate chip to snickerdoodle, but both flavors are scrumptious. HighKey Mini Cookies are a perfect dessert for people following the ketogenic diet. Sometimes having cookies is just what we need after a long day!” Savannah, 12 years old
Sounds like HighKey Mini Cookies are a great keto treat!

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.

Sounds like they are kid approved! This is nice to have a cookie that is gluten free and low sugar. I think great strides have been made as far as taste and texture. I would say peanut butter too!

These cookies sound like a wonderful alternative to the less healthy version. Gluten free is much better for the body.

You reviewed two of my favorite kind of cookies. I love they are gluten free and I know my family would love these. They would make a great after school treat. The girls did a great job doing the review….

These cookies sound really good! Cookies (and cake) is something that I have not eaten at all since finding out that I am allergic to gluten. I definitely miss baked goods and even crave them more often than I would like. I am definitely going to get some of these! Thank you so much for sharing.

I have never heard of this brand but they look good. I know I would enjoy the snickerdoodles!

I’d choose the snickerdoodle first. Glad your girls liked them.

I would like to try them also. I will have to look for them because I don’t remember seeing them anywhere. Thank you for the information.

Its always a challenge to find gluten free treats that taste good and that kids will eat. These are ones that I would like to try for my grandkids.

These look delicious! The snickerdoodle sounds especially yummy. I have a couple of relatives who are on a reduced sugar diet and they would be totally happy to learn about these cookies. I can’t wait to tell them!
My mom has to eat gluten free and watch her sugars so these might be a great choice for her. Thanks to the girls for taste testing.
