Nadine West is a fashion subscription service. You fill out a style profile to give them clues to what type of clothing you like to wear, as well as your sizes. They mail you a big pink envelope full of clothing and accessories that you try on at home. They also send you a list of prices, and a prepaid return shipping label. You mail back anything you don’t wish to keep, and you’re only charged for the items you do keep.

This lets you shop for new clothes without leaving your house, which is always convenient, but especially now that most of us are trying to avoid unnecessary trips into public spaces. One of my favorite aspects of Nadine West is trying on clothing that I may not have picked out for myself. Sometimes I get items in these bags that I wouldn’t have looked at twice if I saw it on a rack in a clothing store. Yet once I get it on, I really like it! So, I feel that Nadine West has helped me to find more of my own style over time.

This shipment included 11 items. Here we go!

These earrings are pretty. I love the hammered look on the hoops. I do have a bit of a bias against pearls. I know the norm is to see pearls as timeless, but they have always reminded me of elderly women for some reason. I just can’t quite get into pearls myself. These are $22.99 to keep.

This necklace is a cute little compass! I think this is really adorable, and I think it would be perfect for someone who traveled. I have barely been out of my own state, so I just don’t have much connection to this type of design. This necklace is $39.99 to keep.

These pants look and fit okay to me when the top is covered. I don’t really care for the fake clasp aspect on the waistband, but they are higher waisted so they wouldn’t show up with most shirts anyway. I decided not to keep these just because I don’t particularly need more pants right now but I could have gotten some wear out of them if I did have the need. They are $33.49 to keep.

I really like this top. The pattern is a bit unique from what I’d usually choose, but I like it. I love the thin material and the straps in the  upperchest area. I was a bit surprised to get a sleeveless top in this shipment because it arrived around the first of October, which is solidly fall weather here. I’ll keep it for next summer, though. This top is $39.49 to keep.

It took me quite a while to adjust to high wasited jeans. I was born in 91 and grew up seeing photos of my mom and other women from the 80’s wearing high waisted jeans in what I thought of as “old pictures”. So high-waisted jeans and other fashion from the 80s or early 90’s were sort of what I first thought of as “out of fashion” clothes. It’s funny how that sticks with you even when fashions come back around! Anyway, I now like high wasited jeans…but high waisted pants that aren’t jeans are still something I struggle to see in a positive light, especially if they are pleated or puffy in the upper waist like these. I know they are cute again, I just haven’t mentally caught up to the trends! Anyway, these aren’t for me. They are 23.99 to keep.

I LOVE this top. The color, the material, the cute little buttons, the way it’s not clingy to my belly. This shirt is 100% something I would pick out for myself. Again, I was a bit surprised to see sleeveless clothing in my shipment this time of year (October is chilly in Michigan!) but I’ll gladly stick it away for next summer. It is $29.49 to keep.

The bottoms here have the same “problems” for me as the bottoms from the previous set of images. The high waist and sort of “puffy” hip area just is something I haven’t adjusted to seeing as a modern style. They are $11.99 to keep.

This top was sent to me in the same sizes as all the other shirts in this post, but is just really big. I think it’s designed to fit really big, but I don’t care for oversized clothing like this. Just not my style. It is $36.99 to keep.

These pants are cute and comfortable yet look like business casual bottoms. If I Worked in an office or something, I’d definitely be using these. As a full-time blogger, I rarely get dressed up so just 1 pair of dress pants in black and another in khaki is all my wardrobe requires. I just don’t have much use for these. They are $37.49 to keep.

Roughly the same situation with this shirt. It’s cute, but it has a business casual style to it, and I am wearing casual clothing 99.9% of the time. It is $39.99 to keep.

Black is one of my favorite colors to wear. This is a pretty simple 3/4 length shirt with little buttons that help hold the sleeves up. Cute, and seasonally appropriate. Definitely a keeper! It is $30.49.

Overall this was a pretty good shipment for me. I think my favorite was the red tank top, but I added 3 new shirts to my wardrobe.
