If you read my last skinnytees review, it will come as no surprise that this brand has definitely made my list of must have gift ideas for the upcoming holiday season. Why? Because they offer the best basics you can find!
skinnytees – The Best Wardrobe Basics You Can Find!
As a mom to five kiddos, I prefer to live in comfortable clothes that also look great. I need to be able to move and jump so you will rarely find me in anything restricting. Thankfully, skinnytees is the perfect choice. They offer the best basics I’ve found! One of the perks is many of their pieces are one size fits all so they are extremely forgiving AND you don’t have to worry about ordering the wrong size!
This time, I was able to check out a variety of their pieces. With winter now here in Minnesota, you’ll often find me in leggings. I have come to love leggings as they are an extremely versatile piece that can be dressed up or down and can be paired with flats or boots. This time, I grabbed a pair of skinnytees’ Heavier Leggings, Striped Leggings, and Basic Leggings.
The Heavier Leggings are very similar to the Basics but are just slightly thicker. This makes the Heavier Leggings a great choice for cooler days. The Striped Leggings are basics with a fun design. The Stripe color options include black (which is what I have), cranberry, and metal. The ‘black’, give off a black and grey vibe which matches everything!
A great basic top is also hard to come by. I’ve been wearing my Floral Eyelet Tank from my first review under my shirts for months now and it still looks great. So this time, I grabbed a Lace V Neck Tank and Ribbed Tank as I think these also make for great layering pieces. I also love the large variety of color choices skinnytees offers with their tops as the ribbed tank comes in over 35 options while the lace tank is available in 8 choices.
Finally, I have two more bottoms to share. The basic Capris (which is what I live in all summer long as well as what I typically wear on days I don’t plan to leave my home in the winter.) Then, there’s my ultimate favorite, the Yoga Pant. These belong in every lady’s closet everywhere!
