If you’re anything like me, you have multiple gamers in your life and you find them hard to shop for. Game systems are really pricey, and most gamers want specific games, so you can’t really buy them games unless you know exactly what ones they’re interested in. If you know someone who is a PC gamer, the Redragon Horus k618 wireless mechanical keyboard is an awesome gift idea.

Mechanical keyboards feel really nice to type on. They are made higher quality than cheap keyboards, and you can feel the difference when pressing the keys. Mechanical keyboards don’t wear out as fast as regular membrane keyboards do. For these reasons, PC gamers often prefer mechanical keyboards. 

My boyfriend has owned a few mechanical keyboards now, but we were especially interested in the Redragon Horus K618 keyboard for a few reasons. 

This keyboard is designed with a low profile, so the keys aren’t as ‘tall’ as many other keyboard keys. Standard keys are 11MM, and the keys on his keyboard are just 4mm! This makes the typing experience even more comfortable in my opinion. Plus, with less height per key, it’s quicker and easier to push each key. 

The Horus keyboard has multiple connection options. It has upgraded 3.0/5.0 Bluetooth and 2.4Ghz wireless chips. It can save up to five devices, so you can switch between devices effortlessly. 

It has 20 macro and media keys that can assist you with doing other tasks in just the push of a button. For example, switch to the next song, launch your favorite software or adjust the volume. 

Standard keys can be remapped! Some serious PC gamers like to fully customize their keyboards to maximize their effectiveness at playing their games. This keyboard makes it easy to program your keyboard exactly how you want it. It also has 16.8 million colors backlighting, and the ability to customize keys to different colors. 

It’s made to keep a great charge. It has a 1900 mAh lithium battery so it can be used for a long time in wireless mode. It has a low battery indicator to let you know when you’re getting close to needing a charge. 

This is a full-size keyboard so it’s on the bigger side, but it has all the buttons they could want. In the past, we’ve gone with more compact keyboards but Ryan found that he missed some of the additional keys. 

While I think this keyboard would be an awesome gift for PC gamers, it can be used by anyone who uses a desktop computer. It’s not exclusively for gaming. As a blogger, I do a lot of typing and I would even appreciate a mechanical keyboard myself. Maybe I’ll have to get one from Redragon for myself at some point in the future.
