This year for Mother’s Day, Tyler and the kids got me a brand new dishwasher! Now, I am generally not very excited about household necessities as gifts, but a dishwasher is an absolute blessing after not having a working one for years. This was also a very large and fancy gift for Mother’s Day, so the pressure was on to find him something equally amazing for Father’s Day…and that’s where Breeo comes in.

Breeo Y Series Smokeless Fire Pit

We live in Minnesota and that means bonfires, grilling, and s’mores all summer long! I knew that a fire pit would be the perfect gift for Tyler this year, and Breeo is a brand that stands out because they created the first-ever smokeless fire pit. The Breeo Y Series Smokeless Fire Pit is their most recent adaptation and it is incredibly high-quality and heavy-duty!

One of my favorite features of this fire pit is that the legs can be adjusted for height. The photo above shows them at the highest height which is usually used for cooking. There’s a middle stage which is great for burning, like when you’re making s’mores or just sitting around the fire chatting. The final stage is fully stowed-yep, that’s right! The legs go all the way up inside the fire pit to make it great for storing or traveling with.

Along with the stowing legs, the Y Series also has a side handle which is great for carrying and also dumping ashes. I have an aversion to getting covered in ashes (who doesn’t?) so this is a fantastic feature. The handle also makes it easier for me to put the fire pit away because, as it’s heavy duty, it’s also decently heavy! 

I don’t know if it’s a rite of passage for men or what, but the older my husband gets, the more he cares about our lawn and that it looks nice. We’ve got a 5-year goal of removing our deck and replacing it with a patio which will be perfect for fires, but until then, we don’t have to worry about this Breeo Fire Pit ruining our grass. It has a built-in heat shield that makes it safe for decks, pavement, grass, stone, and more! If you’re using it on a composite deck you’ll want to put it on the highest leg height setting, but everything else is fine on the middle setting.

Breeo Outpost Grill

Along with the Y Series Smokeless Fire Pit, I got the Outpost Grill from Breeo! The first thing to point out about the Outpost Grill is that it’s self-pounding and you don’t need any additional tools to install it. Also, you can use it with one of Breeo’s Fire Pits or it can be used on its own. When we go camping, I prefer to bring our own grill just in case they don’t have them at the campground (and sometimes they’re questionable when it comes to safety). 

Just like the Y Series, this Outpost Grill is very heavy duty. It features a fully adjustable height for easy cooking and it can be rotated 360°. Our kids are getting a little older and they like to help when we’re cooking over the fire, so the rotation is a big bonus for me – we will always be closely supervising, but once we rotate the grill off of the fire, our kids are able to help out more in a safe way.

To make it easier to bring camping, the Outpost Grill comes with a really nice carrying bag. This will help keep our vehicle clean when we travel, and it keeps everything together.

Overall I am SO impressed with both of these Breeo products and plan to add more to our collection. Tyler loved his Father’s Day gift and was so surprised (which was the goal!). We’re so excited for grilling this summer, roasting marshmallows, and late-night chats over a fire!
