Holiday gift guide – Bridgewater candle company review and giveaway
I love candles and making my house smell great. Who doesn't? I also love to give candles as gifts because almost everyone loves a great candle. I often give candles to my sisters and other women or teen girls who end up on my Christmas list. I was sent several awesome smelling products to review from bridgewater candle company. One item I received was a box of spiced cider scented tea lights. I absolutely LOVE apple cider and these tea lights smell amazing! I don't usually have a lot of need for Read more [...]
Issues with wordpress?
In the past week I have had issues with wordpress four times. What happens is I write out a blog post, and then go to add images. If I add an image say 1/4 of the way down the post, then the top 1/4 of the post will disappear. Or if I add it 3/4 of the way down, then sometimes the bottom 1/4 will disappear. Anyone else having this issue, or know how to avoid it? I assume that if I add images and then the text, that it might prevent the issue, but it's hard for me to know where I want to place the Read more [...]
Holiday gift guide – head chef review
Today I have a great stocking stuffer idea for you all! As a kid, I didn't like pizza. I did however, love making pizza. For me, it didn't matter if I wanted to eat whatever we were making, I just wanted to help make it. From my experience, most kids enjoy helping out in the kitchen. I love having kids help me out in the kitchen, because they enjoy it and it can be turned into an educational experience so easily. For little kids, they can help count out how many cups have been poured into the bowl. Read more [...]
$15 amazon gift card giveaway
Bestcovery is a website that determines what the best product in a given category is. For example, if you are searching for the best health and beauty products, or maybe the best LED TV you can visit bestcovery and find the correct product category, and the website will tell you what the best 32 inch LED tv is, or what the best tv is for quality compared to cost, depending on what you are looking for. I know that I personally am always looking up reviews before I buy products, especially if the item Read more [...]

Holiday gift guide – turbie twist
Until recently, my hair went well past my shoulders, to around mid back. I had gotten in the habit of using one towel for my hair and one for my body, because if I used the towel for my hair it would be sopping wet and wouldn't do any good for drying off the rest of me. However, I didn't like using two towels every time I took a shower. So when I heard about the turbie twist, a special towel designed for drying your hair, I was definitely interested in trying it out. I knew that it was shaped Read more [...]
Holiday gift guide – oneida 5 piece serving tools review
Today's gift idea is great for the cook in your family. I had been using some serving tools that were plastic that were suppose to be fine to cook with up to 400 degrees. However, like most stoves, my stove has 'low, medium, and high' and I have no idea how many degrees that changes over to. So I would use the tools all the time, and then one day realized they were melting on the edges. I'd rather not think about how we more than likely ate bits of melted plastic. So I decided I was done buying plastic Read more [...]
Holiday gift guide – aurora toys – fancy pals and paws puppets review and giveway
If you've been following my blog for very long then you know I'm a huge fan or aurora. Aurora makes a huge variety of toys, and everything I've seen of theirs has been great quality and has been accepted well by children. Around six months ago I did my first aurora review, of their yoo hoo and friends stuffed toys, and my niece still drags them around pretty regularly. Definitely a sign of a great toy if it keeps a 3 year olds interest for 6 months! Today I get to feature two items. The first is Read more [...]

Holiday gift guide – rokenbok works construction and action set review & power sweeper review
Wow. If you have a little guy (or girl!) who loves to build or loves figuring out how things go together or work...I definitely have a gift idea for you! The rokenbok works construction and action set is amazing. If you read my past rokenbok review you know that I loved that set as well, but this one is great for kids who are interested in taking their creations to the next step. Who wouldn't want to say "yeah, I made that construction site!" At first glance, the construction site looks like it would Read more [...]
