Father’s Day Gift Ideas From My Gift Stop & $300 Gift Card Giveaway (6/29/2018)

I partnered with MyGiftStop on this sponsored post. All opinions are my own. I tend to be a last-minute shopper. For me, it's not that I struggle to invest time in picking out a gift. It's just that I tend to be very indecisive! For most gift-giving events, I first start trying to come up with a gift idea well in advance of the event itself. I start shopping for Christmas around September! Still, far too often, I end up just days away from a party or event with no gift, because I still haven't Read more [...]

D-Link DIR-882 High-Speed Wi-Fi Router Review & Giveaway 6/14

Thank you to D-Link for providing me with products to facilitate my blog review. All opinions are 100% my own. We live out in the sticks. Our remote location makes it difficult to have a secure Wi-Fi connection. If more than one person is trying to use a Wi-Fi connected device, you might as well give up. Multiple users cause a laggy system or a complete freeze. It is frustrating, to say the least. When I was asked to review the D-Link DIR-882 High-Speed Wi-Fi Router, I thought this could be Read more [...]

When items are not broken or otherwise ruined or damaged, I try to donate Read more [...]

I Planted A Garden For My Chickens

Yep, you read that right... I planted a garden for my chickens. We have fourteen chickens that are almost four months of age. Due to predators in our pasture, we are unable to continue letting our chickens free-range. So, now they live in a coop and have a large run to play in.  No matter where they are, they have access to shelter, food, and water. With the chickens no longer having access to fresh greens, I decided to plant them a garden. I did my research and found that many herbs and Read more [...]

Ham, Pickle & Ranch Roll Ups {Recipe}

This recipe is something my pregnant brain just concocted the other day. My daughter and I have had them three times since. These roll ups are super easy to make, yummy and best of all - toddler approved! These are actually a play on my aunt Karen's 'pickle wraps' that she brings to most family gatherings. Her pickle wraps are made with ham, pickles, and cream cheese wrapped up in a tortilla and cut into little pinwheels. The whole family loves them. It was lunchtime the other day and I was Read more [...]
