My boyfriend Ryan started a review/giveaway/social media blog recently and is having his first giveaway. It’s for a 15.00 gift card to Totsy.com! You can view his totsy giveaway and enter before September first at midnight.

I remember when I was around 11 years old my friend had several of the Kidz Bop cd's that had came out around that time. When I was that young I didn't listen to much music that was played on the popular stations for teenagers so I wasn't really aware of what music was cool and what wasn't, but I remember thinking that my friend was cool because she had all the kidz bop cd's. A couple of years ago when my little sister was five or six, she saw a kidz bop commercial while I was around and she mentioned Read more [...]

While on the Ohio tour, we got to stop and check out the Toledo Art Museum. The museum is free to the public and is quite large. We only got to see a portion of the museum, you could easily spend the majority of a day seeing the whole thing. What we did see was very impressive, although I admit I am not well educated as far as art goes, all I can really say was I enjoyed checking out the various pieces. In addition to having an impressive selection of art, they also offer classes for little kids Read more [...]

If you've been following my blog for more than a year, you might remember a giveaway I had with an awesome jewelry etsy shop called jenny's treasures for U. In fact, the handmade jewelry giveaway that I had with Jenny's Treasure's was one of my first giveaways to have more than 300 entries. I completely understand why, too! All handmade earrings are awesome, but Jenny's are completely gorgeous. Last year I talked about how gorgeous her branch wirework earrings were, and I still love them. I also Read more [...]

I have fallen in love with a clay roaster. Seriously, the classic glazed schlemmertopf clay roaster that I selected for review from Frigidaire is my new favorite dish. I thought it looked like a medium sized pan with a lid that I could use for casserole's and the like. I didn't have a good casserole dish with a lid, so I thought I'd like this one okay. I didn't expect it to be so awesome though. In the past i've made scalloped potatoes with ham several times. I decided to try the same thing Read more [...]

The switch I talked about in my last post is almost done, although the layout is going to see some changes from where it is right now. A little bit of fine tuning in color and size, and few more touches so it doesn’t feel so sparse and plain. The comment system will see some changes from where it is right now as well.

Everything seemed to go fine on our end. If you run into any problems please comment and we’ll get right on it.

Many of you have probably wondered where the name "Boo's and rawr's" came from. I run an etsy shop where I sell stuffed animals that are monsters, so boo and rawr are monster noises, and I named my etsy shop boo's and rawr's. When I originally made this blog it was for my etsy shop, so I created it to have the same name as the etsy shop. However, for about a year and a half now I haven't done much with my etsy shop and the name is confusing to everyone. I even get emails referring to my blog as Read more [...]

I've always preferred salty snacks to sweet ones, and pretzels have been one of my favorite snacks for years. I love trying new brands and variations of pretzels, so I was excited to try out Pretzel Pete. Pretzel Pete makes a variety of nugget-shaped pretzels with flavors like Sour Cream & Habanero and Cheddar & Ale. Ryan & I were able to try out all of their flavors and although I had a couple that I didn't care for, between the two of us we liked all the flavors. The only ones I didn't Read more [...]
