Amy Michelle bags were created one night while friends Amy and Michelle were out to dinner with their Husbands. They were having a fun conversation about balancing being a Mom, Wife, work, and me-time. One thing lead to another and then the idea for Amy Michelle Baby Bags was conceived.
Design and quality were very important to both Amy and Michelle because they wanted their bags to be fashionable and fit the needs of a busy Mom. They wanted a bag that could go from work to travel to family time while still being functional and fashionable.
For my review, I received the New Orleans bag in the NEW Charcoal Floral pattern. This bag has it all! The outside pattern is a beautiful floral pattern…not like Grandma’s curtains, but really attractive and sophisticated. The inside lining is an attractive apple green color and is antimicrobial. I also found out that it’s water/juice proof…not sure if the ladies at Amy Michelle purposely designed it that way or if that was just a bonus. It has two tote straps and comes with a messenger style handle and two stroller/luggage straps. There are plenty of pockets for organization, five on the inside and three on the outside. It also comes with an apple green changing pad that can be washed! How thoughtful was that!
Although the New Orleans bag is considered a small tote, I had more than enough room for my stuff and all the girls “necessities.” We are past the stage of needing a “diaper bag” but I still need something with lots of pockets for all the peace- keeping items that I find myself dragging around such as toys, books, puzzles, crayons, water bottles, snacks and so on. I wanted a bag that would fit the girls’ needs and my desire to not look like such a Mom all the time. The New Orleans bag was everything I had hoped for and more.
The only downfall to this Amy Michelle Bag is that I now know what I’ve been missing and I want more of them. Have you seen their NEW Zebra bag or the Cosmo bag? They are simply breathtaking! I would LOVE to add them to my Amy Michelle collection!
Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us.
