I hate waiting rooms already, I’m sure that my dislike for them will only grow when I have children who are stuck waiting with me. I’ve waited in doctors office waiting rooms for just shy of two hours before, and even longer than that in emergency room and urgent care waiting rooms.

If you are aware of your current eyeglass prescription, there’s no longer a need to sit around in the waiting room at an eye doctors office to order your glasses. Instead, you can just visit Glasses.com and pick out a pair of frames, and add on lenses. During the order process you’ll be asked for your prescription which you can plug in. You’ll need to email or fax a copy of your prescription to glasses.com before they will submit your order.

I had never heard of an online eyeglasses company requiring this, but I asked an online customer service representative about it and she said they are legally required to get proof. It was nice and convenient how I was able to use their online chat for customer service to get an answer within seconds. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the response was given by a real person, instead of an automated robot response like you get from so many other online customer service chats.

The selection available includes glasses for men, women, regular sunglasses or prescription sunglasses. I’d love a pair of prescription sunglasses for use during the summer because I can never find clip on sunglasses that fit well and look nice for my glasses, yet I don’t like taking off my glasses to wear regular sunglasses because then I can’t see very well.
