This week has been a week of struggles for me. I have two young Daughters at home with me all day plus, I provide daycare for my Nephew and Niece; all of them were tired and a little cranky. After a day full of demands, I just didn’t have the energy to exercise…I know, I should have just done it, but I didn’t. I also didn’t do very well with my water. I am not a water drinker by choice. No, I am not drinking soda or juice, I just simply don’t drink. At the end of the day when I would realize that I needed to drink water, it was too late; I would have been up using the bathroom all night.
I was able to stick to my Nutrisystem foods because they are delicious and very easy to incorporate into my busy/chaotic life. Both of my Daughters enjoy helping me choose what foods I am going to eat and laying them out on the kitchen counter in the morning.
This week, my measurements showed a loss of .5 in my upper arms, 1.5 in chest, 2.0 in waist, 0 in my hips, .5 in my thighs, a weekly total of 4.5 inches and an overall total of 6.5 inches. I also lost 4.4 pounds, a total of 11.2 pounds! Can you imagine what my results could/would have been if I had exercised and drank my water!
Next week, I am really going to work on exercising every day and drinking all of my water. I know this will help me to feel better physically and mentally. Even if it means staying up late when my family has gone to bed, I am going to do it!

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.

I only have one kid at home with me all day, and I struggle with finding the motivation to exercise by the end of the day as well! You are doing great…your weight and measurements are proof! Keep it up!!
