shadora heart ring
When it comes to jewelry, I tend to wear one set each day instead of changing my jewelry or accessories out for each outfit. I just am not interested enough in fashion to spend money on items to match different outfits. So I tend to go for jewelry that is simple and subtle, that will match most anything but is still pretty. I have been wearing the Diamond Accent and Sterling Silver Heart Ring from Shadora for a couple of weeks now and it’s very “me”. It’s just silver, with a heart and then two “rows” that crisscross one row being plain sterling silver and the other being a row of diamond accents. For being a petite woman, I have large hands, my ring finger is a size 8.5. The ring is only available in full sizes and at the time, sizes 7 and larger were out of stock. I could tell that this simple, delicate ring would make a great pinky ring though, seems how it is so simple and dainty so I ordered a size 5 and have been wearing it as a pinky ring. I think it looks really cute and I have gotten a few compliments on it already.

The prongs are taller than the diamond accents (in the row as well as in the center of the heart) themselves, which I wish wasn’t the case but that’s the only improvement I can dream up for this ring. I am sometimes sensitive to the thickness of the band on rings. In the past I have bought rings and ordered them in my correct size and really liked the appearance but the thickness of the band bothered me when I closed my fingers into my hand or made a fist because it just felt unnatural to have the thick band there. This has been especially true for me in rings that aren’t on my ring finger, so I worried that even though this ring is on the dainty side, that it might be hard to get used to having a ring on my pinky but it’s so thin that I don’t even notice it when I move my hands about, so it has been easy to get used to wearing.

Shadora sells this ring for $12.99 which I think is a great price for this cute little ring, plus shipping is free on all of their orders.
