BABYBJÖRN Plate & Spoon Set, Cup, Bib and Smock Review & Giveaway (US & Canada) 7/16
Thank you to BABYBJÖRN for sending me samples, free of charge, for review. All opinions are my own.
BABYBJÖRN is a Swedish family company that was founded in 1961 by Björn Jakobson. He had a clear vision of what he wanted to create. The business concept was to produce safe and innovative products for children ages 0 to 3 that were made with the highest quality and would also make lives easier for families. This original BABYBJÖRN concept has stood the test of time and you can find their products all over the world.
I was sent a great assortment of BABYBJÖRN products to test. This included their Plate and Spoon Set, Cup, Eat and Play Smock, and Soft Bib.
I have to say, I am in love with the BABYBJÖRN Soft Bib. I was so happy to have that included in my review pack because I have been using them for years. I have one in each diaper bag and one in the house. I’m so glad to have more for in the house now because both my 1 and 2 year olds could really use one while eating most days. This bib is great. I’ve purchased so many bibs in the past. Regular, material, pocket, etc. None have made the cut. I could have saved myself a lot of headaches had I just discovered the BABYBJÖRN Soft Bib before trying all those others. I love the fact that I can just throw the bib in the sink and wash it with my dishes. No more having to do a load of laundry just to clean the bibs. If you have a child that eats, you need this bib. Even my bibs that are over a year old (and get used daily) show no wear and tear.
The BABYBJÖRN Plate & Spoon Set and Cup are also very nice. They are very sturdy and perfect for small hands. Since our youngest just turned 1 and has just recently started eating baby food, I had our 2 year old test out these products. Although, our 6 and 8 year have each had a turn with the cup already too. They have decided it would be most fair to have it on rotation between the three of them until our youngest can take it over and claim it. I like that these are all dishwasher, microwave, and freezer safe. The plastic is all certified food safe and is PVC-free and contains NO BPA, phthalates, lead, cadmium, chlorine, or bromine. Add in the fact that it’s also made of plastic that is recyclable and you have a winner.
We have not yet tried the Smock but plan to as soon as we do our next craft. I am going to really like the fact that paint will stay off my 2 year olds clothes. You can also use the smock for when your child is eating or helping cook. With long sleeves and elastic cuffs at the wrist, this smock is really nice. Especially since it’s made from breathable material and won’t overheat your child. The BABYBJÖRN smock is also machine washable or just wipe clean with a rag for small messes.
BABYBJÖRN is committed to three core values: quality, safety, and style. My family couldn’t be happier with the products we reviewed. I can’t think of anything I would change on them. Definitely give them a try soon if you have young children or in your life. Any of the items I reviewed would also make a great shower gift that would get used for years to come.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.
