We have four young children ages 8 all the way down to 1. Since I’ve been through most stages four times over, I’ve tried many different products. Coming from a mom who has gone many nights without sleep, I’m willing to try different things to accomplish some rest. Desperate times call for desperate measures and I’ve been known to use living room camp outs as a way to get the older kids to sleep faster some nights.
I was excited to partner with Mommy’s BLISS, who was founded in 1999. They strive to offer dependable products that help both moms and babies. The woman and mom behind Mommy’s BLISS is Roshan Kaderali, who is originally from Tanzania but has been in the US for over 35 years. When Roshan began her nursing practice in the US, she discovered that Gripe Water was unavailable here. Working close with the FDA, she created the first all natural Gripe Water for the American market. Because of the positive response and continual demand, Roshan went on to create even more products based on her experiences with infants and new parents.
Mommy’s BLISS offers products that:
~Contain naturally derived ingredients including roots, herbs, essential oils, and flowers
~Hypoallergenic
~BPA free
~Vegetarian
~Cruelty free
~ Contain no parabens
~Contain no harsh chemicals
I was sent an assortment of their Sweet Slumber Bedtime Line as well as their Upset Tummy & Nausea Relief. The Sweet Slumber products have even been recently tweeted about by Molly Sims and Melissa Joan Hart.
The first thing I noticed about the Sweet Slumber products is the soft scent. All three products, Sweet Slumber Baby Wash, Sweet Slumber Massage Cream, and the Sweet Slumber Mist all have a gentle lavender with chamomille scent to them. Very pleasant. Makes me sleepy, although that doesn’t take much these days chasing after four kids all day. I decided to test these products on our youngest who is fifteen months. He’s not that great of a sleeper yet. The Baby Wash was a nice addition to bath time. I was happy to know that I was using something that was completely safe to be touching his skin. I also used the Sweet Slumber Massage Cream on him. While he thought it was funny and giggled and squirmed at first, he settled down and enjoyed himself as I finished rubbing him in. Finally, I sprayed the bedding with a light shower of Sweet Slumber Mist. (I like the smell so much I’m temped to do it to my pillow.) I’m happy to report that our sons sleep habits seem to be improving some. He does still wake to nurse but not as often. I’m hoping with continued use, I will see even more improvements.
Thankfully, we have not yet had to test the Upset Tummy & Nausea Relief, although I am happy to have it at my disposal for future use. It’s never any fun when someone has a tummy ache and it’s even worse when it’s a child. I usually feel so helpless and have never had any idea on what to do to help them in the past besides having them rest. Now I’ll be able to give Mommy’s Bliss Upset Tummy & Nausea Relief a try.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.

I read about Mommy’s BLISS Middle of the Night Survival Kit on their blog that would be great for my manager who just had a baby. It’s hard to come back to work but to be sleep deprived too is awful. They have some good products to try.

I think I would like to try the sweet slumber baby wash
