I received two sweatshirts from Planet Buddeez for my review. All opinions are my own.
I don’t usually purchase clothing for my girls when the clothing has slogans on it; however, when I saw Planet Buddeez sweatshirts, I knew the girls would love them.
Planet Buddeez offers a line of environmentally responsible children’s apparel. They currently offer t-shirts and hoodies. Each t-shirt or hoodie comes with a plush animal character in the pocket and a small story book. Planet Buddeez plush animals each have an earth-friendly message to share such as- “More Trees Please,” “Wind Power,” “Diggin Earth” and “Love the Sky.” Kids can remove the plush animal from the pocket to reveal a graphic image of the animal. The shirts can be worn with or without the animal in the pocket and still look great.
Planet Buddeez apparel features eight loveable characters- Bubbles the Bear, Diggy the Dog, E Zee the Elephant, Doodle the Dragon, Jumper the Jaguar, Gyro the Giraffe, Majik the Monkey and Pally the Penguin. T-shirts are available in sizes 2T-5T and hoodies in sizes 2T-5/6T.
For our review, Savannah received a Gyro the Giraffe Hoodie in the Eggplant color and Cheyenne received a Pally the Penguin Hoodie in pink color.
Both girls loved that the plush animals, Gyro giraffe and Pally penguin, could be removed from the pockets. They usually play with the plush animal rather than wear them in the hoodie pocket. They like holding the plush animals while they read the books and use them to act out the story.
The hoodies themselves appear to be well made. The inside is soft and comforting. The graphics are cute and playful. They girls say that the hoodies are comfortable to wear. I appreciate that the sweatshirts were designed without dangerous drawstrings…one less thing for mom to worry about.
Planet Buddeez are fun, fashionable and Eco-friendly. The t-shirts and hoodies make great gifts.
Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.
