The more I read and learn about chemicals and their effects and possible effects, the more I try to stay away. I’d rather take precautions now than have to deal with aftermaths later. Something that has been brought to my attention this past year is the fact that a lot of mattresses contain chemicals or questionable ingredients. This is frightening since a mattress is something that our whole body is touching for (hopefully) eight plus hours a night. Even longer if it’s a crib mattress since infants and young children typically sleep twelve plus hours. While our current two youngest aren’t the best sleepers, I still want them on a safe sleeping surface for the hours that they do rest and I was happy to partner with Lullaby Earth when they requested to send me the LE10 to review.
There are lots of choices out there for eco-friendly safe products. Lullaby Earth has developed two great mattresses that are both safe and affordable.
LE10 Eco Plus Crib Mattress Features:
~Lightweight: Weighs in at only 7 pounds!
~ Waterproof: Food grade non-toxic waterproofing.
~Easy To Clean
~Firm Surface
~Snug Fit With Square Corners
~Limited Lifetime Warranty
~No Vinyl, PVC, or Polyurethane Foam
~Made In The USA
~Recyclable Design
The first thing I noticed about the LE10 was how extremely lightweight this mattress was. Seriously the lightest mattress I think I’ve ever picked up. While it feels lightweight, it definitely still has a sense of quality to it. I love this feature because there is nothing worse than struggling with changing sheets in the middle of the night and wrestling a 20+ pound mattress. Thankfully, our 3 year old has been potty trained for over six months and we’ve never had to deal with much for “accidents” with any of our potty trained kids. Even still, we have had a few of those middle of the night throw-up parties that nobody enjoys attending that includes mandatory bed-sheet washing. I will be very grateful for a lightweight mattress that is also waterproof.
The other mattress that Lullaby Earth offers is the LE14 which is a dual system mattress. One side is firmer for infants and the other side is slightly softer for toddlers. All of the other great features in the LE10 are also present in the LE14.
I am super happy to retire the old garage sale mattress we were using for our 3 year old and switch over to the Lullaby Earth LE10. I will sleep better knowing that his little head and body are on a safe, chemical free surface.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.

As one with carpal tunnel syndrome, I so appreciate how lightweight this mattress is. Just turning some of them hurts my wrists. I love their blue/green logo and looks like a great product I would love getting and recommending to others.
good luck, all! (psst… this would be a great win with Grandbaby #1 on the way! Thanks for the chance! ♥)
