Along with Summer comes trips to the park, beach, zoo, and hitting the trails for walks with our family. Since Minnesota Winters tend to be so long and cold, we really try to take advantage of the nice weather when it finally comes. The sunshine is welcoming and we spend time outdoors every day possible. Growing up, I always had a pair of water shoes for our beach visits but, until recently, I hadn’t really thought it was possible to find stylish comfortable water shoes for adults. Then I came across Cudas.
I liked so many of their styles that I had a really hard time choosing one to review. In the end, I chose the Yancey Water Shoes in Black. I typically wear a shoe size of 7 or 7 1/2 so I ordered the size 7. I find that they run slightly large because the 7’s fit me with a little room to spare. My first thought when I opened the box and picked these shoes up was that I couldn’t believe how lightweight and flexible they are.
It seems like every time I get a new pair of shoes, I get sore feet. So I put on my new Yancey’s from Cudas and headed out for the day expecting to be in pain by lunch time. Surprisingly, I completely forgot that I was wearing new shoes. By evening when I got home, my feet were still doing great. The only thing I notice when I wear them is that I wish the velcro would give me the option to go a little tighter. Since the shoes do feel generously sized, I would love a really snug fit around my ankle but am only able to achieve a semi-tight fit. I was still really comfortable and the shoes stayed on well. I like them so much that I plan on ordering another pair of Cudas in their Catalina style.
