I received products from K9 Bytes for my review. All opinions are my own.
As some of you may know, we have a lab named Kaylee. Kaylee just turned 10 years old. We had a larger than normal birthday celebration this year for Kaylee and we showered her with new grooming products, special treats and extra attention.
One gift I had thought about getting Kaylee was a new leash and collar set. The set she had was functional but it was mismatched and that bothered the fashionista in me. Things got busy and I ran out of time to find a set I liked.
A few days after Kaylee’s birthday, I was asked to review products from K9 Bytes. I jumped at the opportunity for a few reasons. First, they have cute matching collar and leash sets. Second, they are a local company for me. Last but not least, I like working with companies who hand-make their products.
K9 Bytes offers handcrafted K9 gifts for both dogs and cats. They have collars, leashes, treats, grooming products, blankets and more.
For our review, Kaylee received a collar and leash set in pink camo print.
The collar clasps securely with a quick release buckle. It also has a nickel plated D-ring to firmly attach a leash to. The collar is constructed with cotton material. It has a slider to adjust the collar to ensure a proper fit. Collars are available in six different width sizes.
The leash has a heavyweight zink plated snap bolt. The fabric on the leash is also cotton. The leash length is 52” long. Leashes are available in three different widths.
Kaylee is only able to enjoy short walks since she has arthritis in her back legs. We have taken her for several short walks with her new leash and collar set and she seems to be pleased with them.
As a “pet” parent, I appreciate the craftsmanship in K9 Bytes collar and leashes. The collar and leash look nice and appear to be well made.
K9 Bytes collar and leashes can be machine washed and line dried.

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.

How cute. They need to make leashes for more animals too!

My little Yorkie wasn’t much over 6 pounds, so I didn’t need a strong leash. I love the pink camo print of this lease and so bright. My Yorkie’s arthritis in his hips was so bad, I had to carry him sometimes. We all get old eventually. 🙁
These look really cute and sturdy! I wish we still had a dog – but that was some years ago now 🙁
