Kiss Naturals sent me natural craft kits for review. All opinions are my own.
My little sister is now 11 and I have 14 and 16 year old nieces. For all 3 girls, craft kits are one of my go-to ideas because they all enjoy being creative in a structured way. This year I am giving them Kiss Naturals Kits which are all natural craft kits aimed are suggested for ages 6+.
One of the kits that I received is a DIY Natural Lip Balm Kit. It comes in two sizes, regular and mini. The regular kit is $19.95 and contains enough ingredients to make three sticks of lip balm and three jars of lip balm as well. The mini kit is $11.95 and makes one stick and one jar of balm. Our kit was full sized and the directions were easy to read. My 11 year old sister easily could have done the kit all on her own but it was fun to do together. The kit contained two scents so we made one set of balms in each flavor and then combined the flavors for the last set of balms.
The lip balm goes on smooth and thin which I like because it will last longer than balms that go on thick. The kit even includes stickers with space to write the flavor and creator (your name) on them to make them look like store-bought balm.
My sister enjoyed these kits and I think they’d work as great gifts for girls or women interested in crafts. The instructions are very straightforward, the process wasn’t complicated at all and the lip balm kit left us with very little clean up required. Other Kiss Natural DIY kits let you make hair chalk, bath fizzies, lip gloss, and glycerin soap. If you know girls or women who are interested in those type of personal care items they will likely enjoy these kits even if they aren’t interested in crafts. For example, my niece likes to use hair chalk so I’m sure she’d enjoy the DIY Hair chalk kit.
