Over the last couple of years, the popularity of camouflage clothing and accessories has really exploded in my area. I live in a rural area that has always been easy to classify as “country” but in the last few years it seems like it’s become cool. As a result, probably every third or fourth person who I walk past in my little town will be wearing something visible that is camouflage – whether its a hat, coat, shirt, etc.
My family has a few people who like wearing camouflage and we are doing an adult gift exchange (white elephant style) this year. I thought I would look around online to see if I could find some camouflage gifts that aren’t exactly the same as I would see in local stores so that hopefully nobody in my family would already own the items. I came across Havercamp and thought several of their Camo gifts would be a great fit for our gift exchange.
Instead of being your traditional hat or boots that are available in camo, Havercamp has party and picnic ware (like disposable plates), work accessories and tools and home/fun gear that are available in camouflage prints. While the party & picnic wear would be fun for BBQs or parties, I thought the home & fun gear and tools would be better fit for gifts.
The tools section includes a measuring tape, utility knife, carabiner and work gloves that are available in camo prints. The carabiners are even available in pink camo which I know my sister will love. I love how each of these items has a practical use as well so I know they’ll get used a lot.
The home and fun gear category includes some party supplies like ribbons and balloons as well as photo frames, pens and pencils, can covers, mugs, blankets, grill aprons and ornaments .The grill apron will be perfect for my brother who always handles the grill at our parties. The pink camo ornaments will be perfect for my sisters pink christmas tree that she decorates each year.

Forget gifts for others–I love camo myself! I have pink camo and blue camo shorts, sweats, shirts, a camo bug out bag and two other camo carry bags, and my latest aquisition, camo pajama pants. Yep, I’m a fan and you bet I’ll be visiting Havercamp for all things camo. I like their Pink Camo Classic Fleece Throw.
