Parents, we have all had those mornings where our young kids get dressed and come out with pants that fit perfect three days ago but are now above their ankles. Or tops that were long but now show off their mid-section. Right?! How does this happen so quickly?
Recently I noticed both of my daughters are going through growth spurts. The clothing in their closets is beginning to dwindle as our donation bags are growing. I decided with Christmas coming up, it was a great opportunity to get them clothing for gifts.
While the girls were at school, I set off for Kohl’s with my 15% off customer coupon and a sponsored gift card. I was able to maximize my purchasing ability by shopping holiday sales and combining those discounts with my coupon. I walked away with four pairs of pants and six tops for the girls.
For Savannah, creative fashionista, I chose: Mudd ”Check Meowt” Hoodie Tee, Speechless Crochet High-Low Top, Knitworks Striped Cardigan & Butterfly Tank Set, SO Bootcut Jeans, and Mudd Lace Pocket Denim Jeans.
For Cheyenne my playful fashionista, I picked out: OshKosh B’gosh Shiny Polka-Dot Tee, SONOMA life + style Beaded Stripe Sweatshirt, Design 365 Lace Heart Tee, Mudd Denim Jeggings, and SONOMA life + style Jeggings.
At almost eight years old and five and a half, my daughters are independent dressers. However, I can’t help but put outfits together when I shop. I thought Savannah would be cute in her Speechless Crochet High-Low Top, Mudd Lace Pocket Denim Jeans, brown knee high boots and a trendy scarf. I can picture Cheyenne in her OshKosh B’gosh Shiny Polka-Dot Tee, Mudd Denim Jeggings, black knee high boots and a playful hair accessory. I can’t wait to see what outfits they come up with.
I am pleased with my choices from Kohl’s. Hopefully these items will fit the girls for a while. I look forward to them opening these outfits on Christmas morning.
