Our little girl is growing up so fast. She has just turned three months old but has changed so much recently. She loves when people talk to her and her face lights up with smiles while she “talks” back. Even our other kids have noticed how animated she has become and love interacting with her now. While I’m sad that she’s no longer the itty bitty newborn, I truly enjoy seeing the growth and changes with all of our kids as they get older. I guess it’s bitter sweet because I know these days are fleeting and, as I’ve been told over and over, they will be grown and gone before I know it. For now, though, I was on the search for a fun floor seat for her and came across the Mamas & Papas Baby Snug and was happy to partner with them for this review.
We received the Mamas & Papas Baby Snug & Activity Tray in Red. I’ve seen floor seats before but when I opened the box from Mamas & Papas, I was immediately impressed. This seat is so much better made than the one (from another company) I had for our first child. After getting everything out, I noticed that the infant positioner (colored piece) is firm but soft and comfortable. It easily sets into the base seat. I like the fact that the Mamas & Papas Baby Snug can be used with or without the insert, based on each child’s individual needs.
This seat has a nice wide base that is very sturdy, safe, and can not be tipped by normal use of a young child. Of course, it is a floor seat and must be used on a flat surface on the floor at all times for safety.
The tray easily snaps on and off. There are small slits on the side of the base that the tray secures in to as well as in the middle. It’s simple for an adult, yet a young child won’t be able to do it too easily.
I also received the Activity Tray for our Baby Snug. It’s brightly colored and so very fun. Lots of engaging activities are found on this tray. The center lets out a squeak with a very light touch so even the youngest users can operate. Spinning toys and bright colors are fun for infants and toddlers alike. The toy tray attaches to the white tray with suction cups. It seems to stay put well even with our 2 year old playing with it too.
Overall, this is a great product. Even my husband is impressed with the high quality. The thought and design behind the Baby Snug is perfect. We can’t even think of anything to change. Since our daughter is only 3 months, she only goes in for a few minutes at a time but seems to enjoy it and is amazed already.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates.
