I received products from Pacific Play Tents for my review. All opinions and photos are my own.
A few weeks ago, I told you about a company called Pacific Play Tents. Pacific Play Tents offers play teepees, tunnels, parachutes, chairs, and tents in various shapes and sizes. They also carry fun accessories for all of these items.
For our review, we received a “Painting Teepee”. This teepee was super easy to set up. It came with step-by-step instructions, four sturdy wood poles, a strong canvas tent and a set of colorful paints and a paintbrush for us to customize our new teepee.
We kept our teepee inside for a few weeks. My daughters have a small playroom next to their bedrooms. They had a great time playing in the teepee and pretending to campout in there. When their cousins visited, they also enjoyed playing in the teepee.
Then last week, they asked to have the teepee moved outside. First the teepee was undercover on our patio, then it was moved next to the new playhouse. With the teepee next to the playhouse, they can play “neighbors”. It is fun watching the girls interact and pretend play. I often find them “cooking”, reading, picnicking, and talking about their day at school.
Surprisingly, the girls still haven’t wanted to paint their teepee. Though, I have a feeling that will change this summer as the weather improves and they have time off from school.
A couple of days ago, we sold our house. (YAHOO!!!) As I made a plan for packing, I realize that the teepee would be one item on our “pack it last” list. The teepee will provide us with an immediate place for the girls to play. Hopefully this will help my husband and I have time to unpack while they are entertained…hopefully!

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.

Oh my goodness, this takes me back. My sister and I had a Roy Rogers teepee in the backyard in the 60’s. Way too much fun and a safe way for kids to entertain themselves. Good to see they are still a hit with kids and parents.
I’ve always wanted something like this for my girls! Might have to keep it in mind for a birthday present when our budget isn’t so tight. 🙂 Hope your move goes smoothly!
