I know it may sound silly to some of you, but I have really wanted to get a steam mop! I can’t stand having dirty floors so I am constantly cleaning them. My preferred method of cleaning is steam. See where I am going…having a steam mop would be a dream come true for me.
Our “old” house had wood laminate flooring. I had been told that steam mops weren’t advised for use on some wood laminate products so I put my dream of having a steam mop on hold. As soon as we sold that home and moved into our new one (which has some vinyl and tile flooring), one of the first things on my “to do” list was to get a steam mop.
For my review, Reliable Corporation sent me the Steamboy 200CU steam mop.
The Steamboy 200CU has a 180-degree swivel head, which is perfect for getting into hard to reach areas, corners and under cabinet ledges. A high density 11” microfiber cleaning pad adheres to the base of the steam mop. When it is dirty, simply toss the microfiber cleaning pad into your washing machine.
The removable 2.4-cup water tank makes refills easy and quick. Each full take of water will give you 25 minutes of steam cleaning. An on/off button and ready light will indicate when the steam is up to a sanitizing temperature (245 degrees) and ready for use. A comfortable and ergonomic handle makes mopping a breeze.
A carpet glide attachment allows you to use your Steamboy 200CU on the carpet. I used the Steamboy 200CU on a coffee spill on white carpeting and with a little bit of spot remover, the stain came out.
I have been using my Steamboy 200CU for about a month now. I am really impressed with the way it cleans and sanitizes and I really love that it is chemical free.

I’d like a steamer for my shower! I think they make hand helds like that. It is such a chore. I do have a bath and kitchen floor this steamer could clean too!
