Ohuhu bike shorts and reflecting disc

Ohuhu provided me with products in exchange for my review. All opinions are my own.

Ohuhu is a seller on Amazon who has a wide product range from household items like organizing and storage products to yard and outdoor products such as hoses and hammocks and several categories in between.

My boyfriend & I recently purchased an exercise bike because we have been trying to exercise more regularly and our traditional bicycles don’t get much use because we live on a busy road without sidewalks which makes biking difficult. We’ve both been using the exercise bike a lot since we got it about a month ago, and we feel like it was a great buy overall. However, the seat on it has proven to be really uncomfortable for both of us after using the bike for a long time. We were both deciding to stop exercising as a result of soreness before we were exhausted. So, when I saw that Ohuhu offers Ohuhu Padded Bicycle Shorts I knew Ryan would be eager to give them a try.

They’ve proven to be a huge help at making bicycling more comfortable for Ryan. They are in a shorts or boxer style design but are tighter fitting than traditional boxers and are designed to be worn under clothing. The photos that show the blue padding are images of the shorts inside-out, when they are right-side out they are completely black. They end a little above mid-thigh so they are easily hidden under most men’s activewear shorts. Inside of the shorts there is a blue area of padding between the legs, that is slightly fuller in back than in front which helps create a cushion between your body and the bike seat. These shorts have made a huge difference for Ryan and he’s able to ride the bike for 45+ minutes without experiencing discomfort. They are designed to be unisex, and I wasn’t sure how the size would compare to regular men’s sizes so I ordered them in a size larger than what Ryan would wear in men’s clothing and that worked out really well. They are currently listed for $14.99 on Amazon and they qualify for free shipping with Prime membership.

I was also sent a product for myself from Ohuhu. As a blogger I am always trying to improve my blog photos for my readers and an item that I have wanted to try for a while was a light reflector. Light reflectors are basically used to reflect light into an area of shade or a darker area. When I had my high school photos done at a park, I remember the photographer using a reflector to bounce light from a sunny area over towards me when I was standing near trees in the shade.

My yard is surrounded by woods so there isn’t any area of partial shade, it’s either direct sun or dark shade which makes it hard to get perfectly lit photos. I am still experimenting with the reflector but it seems to work well. It is quite big and has two padded handles and two covers which each have two sides to them. It’s considered five in one because you can use the inner portion of the reflector by itself, or cover it with either of the two covers which both have two colored sides of their own. The entire set collapses into a storage bag very easily which is great for storage or travel. The Ohuhu® 5-in-1 Collapsible & Hand-held Multi-Disc Light Reflector is currently listed for $24.99 on Amazon.

What a great concept! I know my husband would love these shorts and they would make his bike riding so much more comfortable!

You know, I don’t really care what they look like but padded bike shorts have to be comfy or I can’t even enjoy my bike ride! I like these black ones and I myself only have one pair so I should look around for more that aren’t too expensive.
