There are many things I love about Summer. Getting out and enjoying the beautiful weather after a cold Winter is just icing on the cake and makes me appreciate the great things this time of year offers. I’m pretty easy to please and pretty much any time I’m hanging out with my husband and kiddos is awesome but here’s a list of our top favorites:
- Planting A Garden: I was a total city girl when I met my husband and had no clue about country living. However, he encouraged me to plant a garden a couple years after we married and I took the leap. While the first few years were pretty disastrous, I’ve learned a lot over the years and the whole family gets in on the action now. Plus, who doesn’t love being able to enjoy their very own harvest! It brings me great joy to see our kiddos out there feasting on fresh vegetables that we’ve grown.
- Beach Fun: Sun, water, and sand. Truly a great combination. Whether building a sand castle, splashing in the water, or sinking my feet into the sand, spending a day at the beach is always a Summertime must.
- Family Bike Rides: The last couple Summers have finally given us the opportunity to go out on family bike rides and I’ve come to really look forward to this activity.
- Relaxing Hammock Breaks: Whether reading a book or taking a nap, hanging out in a hammock is the place I find our daughter most often. I have to agree that it can be a very relaxing and restful place to hang out so sometimes there’s a race to see who gets it first!.
- Planting Flowers: One year for Mother’s Day, my husband brought me to a local green house and we picked out some flowers and hanging baskets. I never grew up with flowers around our home or yard so I thought this was a silly idea but, little did I know how much I would actually enjoy having such beauty around! This has now become an annual trip as the kids and I love having pretty pots scattered in front of our house and garage. (My husband may even have a little regret with what he started as this yearly outing does not come cheap!)
So while I’m enjoying all that Summer has to offer, I like to find clothes that allow me to be active, stylish, and comfortable – all at the same time. That color is really good on you! I love these types of tops – easy to wear when it’s hot or layer a sweater or blazer to dress it up a little.

I really like that tank. The little detail on top makes it look cute and a bit different. BTW you look nice in red.
You and I have a lot in common, I am also a gardener. I also have a flower addiction. Right now I am trying to build up a wildflower and butterfly garden in fron of my vegetable garden to attract the pollinators. My wildflowers are flopping but I keep plugging along! -

Hammock breaks are my fav too!! I adore hiking as well!! I wish I could plant but I tend to kill everything 🙁 Very sad!! Love the tank!! Looks so comfy and perfect!

I like this Sunwashed Red color more so than a bright red and the top trim is so feminine too. With jeans, it makes a great outfit. I only have a few long-sleeved tops from prAna that I purchased on sale, so I’d love to see what else they have.

I love the tank you received from Prana, it’s simple yet beautiful! 🙂 We also love being outdoors! I actually plan on startingy first garden this year, I’m sure they’ll be mistakes but I’m so excited! I would also love to get a hammock to relax and read on.

Have you lost weight? you look awesome and that outfit looks amazing on you!! I love your youngest red hair, she has the same colour as my granddaughter, love the red hair!!
